I don't know how much time spent on English teaching. I think that they have English class every day. I don't know much about Mandarin teaching either. Parents have different point of view when selecting kindergartens for their children. If you want NET, creativity, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in foreign languages, I think you need to look for other kindergartens.

通常weekends問嘢,你唔好expect咁快有人覆你,如果你喺個forum留意下就知道通常喺weekdays會多d feedbacks。

如果你要好creative,我諗可能International kindergarten啱你多d。

至於KV,亞囡讀K1時,最初上學期嘅填色功課(主要練下d小肌內),都係將個公仔/物件填完顏色就交。但到下學期嘅填色功課已鼓勵小朋友喺畫上加上其他自由創作嘅公仔/物件,e.g.幅畫其實只得一架車,亞囡填完顏色後又會畫上乘客、交通燈、馬路、地面雙黃線、太陽、雲....,總知你想加乜就盡情加上去。至於美勞方面,我見經常用唔同物料做--枯葉、棉花、紙碟、紙袋、廁紙筒,而通常美勞作品上畫嘅圖案係小朋友自由發揮,好似做紙鳶咁,上面佈置嘅圖案由小朋友自己決定。喺奧運期間,小朋友要畫一d有關奧運嘅嘢佈置課室。

到家下K2周不時要做親子美勞,e.g.用枯葉去砌隻動物圖案,剛啱呢個星期,老師比咗3張coloured paper,叫小朋友及家長設計聖誕吊飾。另外每教一本書,會有一個新主題,好似今期講動物,老師鼓勵小朋友帶有關動物嘅嘢、或畫動物嘅畫返學校佈置課室,亞囡用poster paint畫咗隻粉紅/黃色嘅馬返去佈置課室。老師亦會鼓勵小朋友平時畫下畫、寫下字帶返去比老師睇,其實至在練下小朋友畫嘢、寫字,亞囡試過話畫公主。

至於英文堂,係每日都有,我冇探求過exactly有幾多。主要學術性科目分四大範疇--中文、英文、數學及常識,其餘有音樂、美勞、PE堂,英文係主科之一,所以佔比重唔會太少。另外,數學嘅所有功課及assessment paper都係英文嚟嘅,所以上堂唔多唔少都會用英文。音樂堂都會教小朋友唱好多英文nursery rhymes,喺教每首歌點唱之前,係會先教晒成首歌歌詞嘅讀音,待小朋友掌握晒成首歌詞先教唱。

普通話由K2開始有得上,每星期都有,每次亞囡返嚟都有up下小小普通話。

以上係我個人嘅了解,如有錯漏希望其他KV家長更正/補充。

You may go to the K3 parents chat from last year and you will find out.
I think you may also try to call KV school office to find out. Some schools will do the statistic on this.
I think KV students everywhere, govt/govt aided schools, private schools, DSS or maybe international schools.
Ying Wah, KTS, SFA, DBS, DJS, LS, MCS, KRS, GH, etc etc.
Look back chat room of previous K3 parents, you will find out more.
