Hypocrisy is it that DGSJ puts up a big show and tells eveybody that they welcome everybody and judge everybody fairly, but deep inside they know it full well that they only want kids from the privileged class and those who are of use to the school.

好想問問是不是一定由校長見?
因為個女話佢只係同一位老師談話, 完畢就坐下來看圖書, 而另一個女孩就見完老師再同校長談話.
想知是否這樣的?是否代表我個女都唔洗望?

agreed.  We also got different point of views on schools..which is good or not for kids.. we all have freedom to choose. some good in my mind but maybe vice verse on you. So...no need to fight what's good n what's bad. If you applied means you agreed with their teaching theory..

just like we go for interview.. u succeeded maybe i'm failed.. dont think i'm below the standard..maybe just cant match what the employer needs...

If the parents don't like or interest to DGJS, why you access this topic? For example, I have no interest to some particular schools so I never access those topics in BK.

If you want to apply DGJS, you need to follow the rule even you don't like it.

I still believe...applied ofcos should go for interview no matter what comments about the school. If u cant have a firm mind...then how to teach/guide ur kids?

Of cos school always got some good AND bad comments...never ONLY good good good, no one is perfect.. Principal also a human only. Before we applied the schools for kids...SURE everyone should read their theory on websites.

Anyway.. just stick to yr 宗旨, a lot of 以訛傳訛, 以偏概全. We cant sure all news are correct but at least trust what u choose..I think its enough!

Agree.  The interview is not a genuine assessment.  The most important is RELATIONSHIP & BACKGROUND!!

Good luck!  Hope your girl will not be unable to gain fame for the school.  Hope your gril will not be mediocre student.  Hope your girl will not be less capable student.

Of course, I will let my daughter to try!!
But I think it may be dreaming that my daughter can go into DGJS. My daughter only answer several simple questions and get out. I think.....

即係咁:夠好多人話LV d sales串,白鴿眼同無禮貌啦, 咪一樣都有好多人甘心命抵比好唔值既價錢去換取名牌效應囉!虛榮心囉!
又即係:用100蚊買3mins希望=買六合彩,中左當然開心;唔中,都不必太在意!
DGJS有魅力吸引咁多家長,也有能力摧谷學生(or摧谷家長),亦明白市場需要,不斷推出有noise既產品(既學生),抵佢有今天的成功既!!

But Mrs Dai is infamous for her "fairness" in choosing girls for entry into the school.

I know of cases where the parents are doctors, Mother is old girl, but the daughter STILL did not get in.

A girl from a simple family, mother housewife, father in banking, no relationship.... from not St. Cat, Kentville, or CCKG. got chosen!

Don't read too much into the factors affecting the DGJS interview, just ask our daughter to TRY HER BEST, and we as parents, try OUR best !!! (Not breast) ....hahahaha.
