Just to share with you what we went through for the interview with KS.

A group of children, around 10, had the interview together.  Split into two groups, one sitting for a "formal" interview while the another group going to the playgroup for an informal one.  Then the two groups swapped.  Total time less than an hour.

Was told that the result will be announced before CNY.  160 children were invited for the 150 vacancies.

Is it different school have their own interview format ?  My son will interview SJS this month end and the kindergarten teacher told me that the interview process last for 15-20 minutes.

My kid went to Bradbury for an interview yesterday.

There was a group of 8 kids with 4 teachers.  The teacher asked my kid about her name and her age.  Then read them a story and ask few questions.  The kids just to answer them volunteerly.  Afterward my daughter were asked to draw a picture about her family and need to explained it.  The last was free play around the room.

It took about 40 mins.  During the interview, the parents were having a tour around the school with the principal.

As 502 mentioned,  the result will being send out before CNY.

One boy from my daughter 's class was accept by ESF KJS and RC right after his interview( He must be really good). I didnt get the result yet. I  called BHS today and they said letter ll be send out not later than Tue, keep checking the mailbox.

Do you mean the parents were told by the interviewer that the boy was accepted right after the boy came out from the interview?

If this is the case, it's quite amazing as I know most of the schools need to wait at least 2 weeks to a month before they can let the parents know.

RC has accepted a boy immediately after the interview? .  May I know who told the parent the result?  If it's the case, is it possible to check the result? As I know, only an admin officer bring the kids to a classroom for interview and bring them back to the parent after interview.  The teachers didn't meet the parents.  A mami of my school called RC asking about the result of interview, the officer said they haven't got the final result because they need to hold a meeting to confirm, no matter of outstanding applicants or bordline cases.

KJS informed the children right after the interview .  The KJS and BHS applicants from our school er interview in a same group. At KJS interview one boy was accept right away and the other failed.  ( The failed boy's mom told me cause he cant make complete sentance and will retest again in May).And for RC, the boy's parent told me he got accept( Details dont know sorry).  Thats why I m wondering is that the only case? Cause I m still waiting for the result. Thanks

I don't think the boy can take interview in both school (KJS & BHS). He can choose only 1 school in ESF for interview.

I've called BHS this morning.  They said that they will send the letter this week, because some ESF primary schools haven't finished their interview.  They need to wait all school finished their interview, then will send out the letter.  

But I've already received the letter from Discovery College yesterday.

My son is accept.
I am so happy.
