My girl will join the big family of SPCCPS too.  This is unexpected from the beginning because the girl is those quiet type and she is studying in a KG known for good Chinese but weaker in English and easy curriculum, although she does show a good memory sometimes (and it happended that most questions asked in 1st interview were trying to test my daughter's memory).  I'm sure it's the work of God rather than anything else.

You are right, my son told me that he had played the game similar to "memory cards" in the 1st round interview. Since he likes playing this game so much, I think this part is rather crucial in the whole process. As for Eng, I also agree that SPCC is not so particular about this.

I suppose the school sent the letters this morning, the earliest we (HK Island) can receive may be around Sat noon.

I checked from school web site and saw my d's BC no. I feel extremely happy.

As the school is moving to Wong Cheuk Hang in the coming year, do you plan to relocate so as to let your child save a bit the travelling time?

I lived in Kln before and it took 1 hour to travel from home to the KG in Central. My son kept complaining to me that he felt sick and vomitting during the long Nanny Bus trip. That's why I decided to move to HK side this year to save the travelling time and let him have a better shape to and from school. Up till now, I found him healthier, a better mood and happier for his school life. :

I think the bus trip from Wong Chuk Hang to Tai Po/ Ma On Shan may be too long (must be more than 1 hr) and exhausting for a full-day primary kid in the long run. It's worth to consider to live closer to the school for the benefit of the kid.

So far, I do not set up any expectation of my girl's primary school, she is only 23 months.  I guess she will be the youngest in the class next year.  That's why I think SPC is good for her as all the teachers are really nice during our interview.

At the moment, I will let my little one to see more, read more, play more....

Do you know when and whether there will be any schedule of school bus?

Will there be any public transportation going to the Wong Chuk Hang campus so that the kid can take in case of after school activities?

it is very clear to me now SPCC takes smart kids, doesn't really matter which kinder he/she comes from.

I believe there should be a vast network of school buses but I have not any schedules on hand.

I will pay a visit to the location of the new campus some time later to get some ideas of the transport arrangement.

Thanks. SPC is a very very good school. I think most of
the parents will choose SPC even if they get the seat in today's lucky draw.

Informed by the school staff today, the routes of the 褓姆車 (no school bus) have not been confirmed this moment but will be announced on 23/8/08 at the latest.

If any parent has the update information, eg kln routes, please let me know. Many thanks.
