選國際班定傳統班好呢??

我住Tuen Mun，女兒會係08-09讀K1，想問下大家究竟選國際班(即全英班)好，還是讀回傳統班呢??

Which kindergarten you chose in Tuen Mun??  My son is study in international class now (N1) and will continue in K1, but may change back to main stream class at K2 and K3,as he need to study Chinese.

Hi Karen...I have choose New Generation, how about your son? I will send my daughter(she just 2) to IN1 in the 2nd semester(Jan 08), the first planning is also continue in IK1....but I would like listen more comment of it before begining of the 2nd semester...why you change the class in K2...do you want send your son to 直資小學?? If continue in Internation class, their Chinese is poor than other children, pls sharing. Thank You!!

點解你要選國際班呢?
有咩原因令你要選擇國際班呢?(我覺得除非小朋友係外國人)
我覺得香港本地的小朋友應該要讀主流班,因為大部份學校辦的兩文三語都唔錯,身為中國人唔學中文就更加唔得,除了學好粵語更要學好普通話.除非你打算好細個就送佢去外國讀書,否則根本冇需要讀國際班.
如果你想小朋友英文好d,我建議家長可以幫佢報讀英文課外興趣班更加實際.
以上純粹個人意見,希望唔會令某些家長唔開心啦.

Thank you for your reply....我比阿女讀International Class都係想佢學好英文打好些基礎，本人有感一般幼稚園不太注重英文，令他們跟小學的課程會因難些~~

Hi hello_mimi,

Sorry for my really late reply.

The reason i need to change back to local stream in K2 is my son need to study Chinese, if keep in International Class, then i need to change to full time class, which means AM is International and PM is Chinese Study.  Full Day class is not my first preference.

Up to now, my son have been to school for 1.5 months, i am happy to hearing he speaks a lot of English wording, which i haven't taught before - ABC, OneTwoThree, Good Morning, Sit Down and Stand Up, i will sing the English Songs (taught in school) with him and he can follow me, which makes me very happy, and i think it is worth to gave over $3000 school fee.  But at home, we speak with him with Cantonese, up to now, he hasn't confused with two languages.

Yes, my first choice is 直資 primary school with no doubt.
