我係問自行分配派位20分需唔需要抽, 是否收哂20分, 才到15分抽? 今年小一家長請指教?

15分都有得抽 = means 20分唔需要抽 law.
The game rule should be like that.

Thanks so much, I contacted both of them and got quoted too.
However I'm a bit worry (especially on raining days) for the 媬姆車 will only stop at the bus stop and a 媬姆EE will take them down the steps to school.

Thanks for your reply. 想問多樣, 如果係首名兒子+適齡+天主教領洗紙 是否正是20分? 來年是否必收? 如果收左又怕高年班升中壓力大而放棄, 會否好可惜? 又如果 St Paul Boys & 高主教都收, 是否讀呢兩間有保障d? 雖然要畀學費!

首名兒子+適齡+天主教領洗紙 是否正是20分? ~ yes, 我兒子亦是這個配搭.
來年是否必收? ~ 唔咁包. 但這幾年15分都有得抽.

如果收左又怕高年班升中壓力大而放棄 ? ~ 奌都有, 我現時以平常心面對, 到時煮到來先再諗, 唔擔心得咁多. 小朋友的潛能好難講. 你唔比壓力時, 佢可以發揮得好好. 但當然不是叫你唔push佢, 而是guide佢.

St Paul Boys & 高主教都收, 是否讀呢兩間有保障d? 雖然要畀學費! ~ 我不是太清楚這兩所學校升中收生情況. 但我知st.paul boys 亦不是全收, 約收70-80%.

我都明白你現時的心情, 因我亦都經歷過咁矛盾的決定. 我的concern是money. 所以選津校, 但要有直屬中學, 起碼你是band1 student 一定收. 如冇直屬中學, even you are band 1 student, 亦有可能被allocated to band 3 school based on the 教統局的system.

I agree this point, if my boy really can't adopt the kind of education after 1~2 years, we will consider to change to a more free school.

Seems you have a younger daugther, how's your plan for her when your son enter a boy's school? Just curious!

oh, never mind. 妹妹未諗, 我多數會選女校. 因當時選小一時, 仲未有妹妹. 不過, 就算她出世先, 我都會選男校, 少咗同女仔爭.

你就好啦, 唔使煩選讀邊間, 我現時的心情重好矛盾, 未有決定, 你有冇考慮過高主教? 升中好似冇咁大壓力, 當然名氣唔及St Joseph 但勝在中文係普通話教, 其餘科目同St Jo 差不多, 小班競爭冇咁大, 你話係咪?

Your information is very useful.  I thought it's really 1 parent is required to attend the briefing on 11/7.  Now I know in fact both parent are wanted, 1 attend the meeting, 1 for order the books and school bus.  Thanks for your info.

Hi, Jackielee,

Really long time no chat la!  They finished their exams la, but a difficult year to bear!  My eldest daughter is going to be F.4, so "選科" year;  my second one just finished P.6, still waiting for the result on 10 July!   WORRY!!!   

Luckily my boy can get a seat in St Jo on the second round.  Or else, I will die la!!
