hello tom,
welcome and nice to meet you! i agreed with you that the extra time from tv is precious for spending with children!
to be honest, we do watch dvd with our laptop from time to time...

french/hong kong news from internet as well! however, i don't watch football personally...

we have never had tv since my wife arrived at hong kong and mostly likely we will not have one in the near future.....

so how old is your daugther?

surpised there are a quite a number of people here doesn't watch TV as often as most does. Personally I think a lot of them are rather educational.

That means you like to pay money for something good instead of FREE stuff.

Now I know why you let your child study in DSS rather than in FREE government school !!

我覺得TVB果D戲好嘈 + 好無聊。尋晚聽到隔離屋既電視聲, 佢應該睇緊ATV, 但果個配音女士竟然大叫"哎呀, 你個死八婆呀"....攪到我幾驚以為有人鬧緊我呀!

I like something free, but I wouldn't mind to pay for something good, that's why I let my kid to study in TSL.
