Helen,
I also think your husband is just in a bad mood after last assessment. Our women (mothers) sometimes can adjust ourselves easier than them. I think you must keep on be positive on your son's progress and your husband will be affected by your belief.
On the other hand, actually, I myself sometimes will feel down on my son's future as well...give him some time and he might not mean what he said... He might be releasing his pressure somehow in front of you as he could not do it to anybody else...
You are a good mother, you have done what you could do to help your son... Don't be upset. Your husband will be positive again when he sees the progress of your son later...  |
