安排小朋友去圓枱玩玩具，隔離有個playground, 阿囝玩了幾分鐘已經走過去玩slide, 有個老師立刻過來話唔可以玩，態度嚴肅，無笑容

原來明天係兩個campus 都有人interview.  我仲以為得Norfolk, 因為之前收interview card 果時好似個個25 IN的都話Norfolk campus.

完全同意！因為我都有個超惡搞嘅仔，有人問我係咪唔夠惡，亦有人話我太惡，教仔真係要靠媽媽同仔各方面嘅嘗試同互動，(雖然我仲未揾到個啱我仔嘅方法)，希望我同你都儘快揾到個同惡搞仔仔相處嘅好方法啦！

我的看法是, 好的管理, 中駟變上駟, 下駟變中駟. 壞的管理, 十分愛心變成七分, 七分得番五分. 重點是, what is your 教育理念. 上網睇, 間間的理念都是大同小異. 我最重視的, 是一個humanistic approach to the kids, 即是說, 學校有沒有考慮家長的感受, 有沒有考慮小朋友的感受, 更直接的講, 有無尊重過家長, 小朋友. 有無當家長, 小朋友係人.

去年十月, 我個仔還未夠兩歲, 入到SC, 行果條長命斜 ( 對我個仔來說 ), 行到上去, 氣來氣喘, 就馬上叫名, 好似四個人開枱咁埋位砌積木, 鼓勵都無一句, 跟住Time's up. 就要馬上起身, 大佬, 你讚下個小朋友, 都係幾秒啫. 跟住又去第二間房, 又要立即見第二個老師. 其實砌積木完全可以同第二part interview combine的, 先讓小朋友砌下積木, 做些容易的task, 鼓勵下小朋友, 等他可以feel comfortable, 再考其他野, 過程需時可能多一, 兩分鐘. 一間學校, 連這一, 兩分鐘都吝惜的, 好極有限啦.

再睇下interview前要家長企街, 拿表格又企街. 即係要班家長做人肉佈景板, 跟那些 " 慈善機構 " 要老人家在烈日下企幾粒鐘輪包米一樣, 佛口蛇心囉.

據說York都有幾千人報名, 人地個校長一樣連續幾星期開lecture, 每一節lecture約個半小時, 約一百五十人一個lecture, 介紹York, 你話校長要演講幾多小時. 人地唔駛家長企街拿表格, 等interview唔駛打哂蛇餅. SC是非不能也, 實不為也.

講得好. 兩間學校比較, 我都喜歡YORK 的INTERVIEW 安排. 教育局成日話唔好重成績重考試. ST CAT 咪又係一次INTERVIEW定生死. YORK 就唔係,除左INTERVIEW , 仲會開你拎2 MINS 的生活片. 家長同小朋友的PERPARETION 同埋QUALITY 可以在到睇到.
其實ST CAT 的INTERVIEW 內容唔係深, 好多BB 都做到. 佢地睇的係果五分鐘表現. 如果話睇父母BACKGROUND, 咁咪BB未出世所有野都巳經定左. 真係比YORK 差得遠.

my kid went for the interview today ... not well performed but at le!east no crying....  the story teller was black face and not so friendly.... actually i am feeling bad now because just after the interview, i also said him being naughty today for not answering questions.... actually he has tried his best... maybe i should encourage him more rather than blaming.....

actually, i dont think i will go back to SC in K1 again, it is just not cup of tea.... the teachers were black face when telling stories, and not so patient to my son when he ties to take her fruits away again and again.....i understand she has been telling the same stories for a thousand times today, but things would be much worse than this in real life and how can i trust they would be patient and nice to my kid out of my sight while she can not even do it in front of me......

We went to the Norfork campus today. Actually the experience was not that bad. All the teachers in the classroom were quite friendly and if a child failed to do a task the first time, they gave the child a second chance after all the other 5 kids answered their questions. They gave a lot of encouragement to the kids who did not do well too. One thing I didn't like was the classroom was too small even though the campus was huge.

All I can say is the KlN tong campus is too cramped with too many people and logistics of different sections of the interview were crap

The school is very old and worn and the classrooms are not inviting and needless to say encouraging to small kids.  

The interview is rushed and the questions asked to the kids are dull.  Questions are easy but kids won't just give you the answer like that!! They are not robots.

The "story" is too factual and the teller too monotonous makin the process a drag to a small kid
