Nice to meet you here. I'm new to BK and new to WY. So glad that I can get so many useful information about the school here from you.

I called the WY school bus operator today who told me that students in p.m. class has to arrive at school before 12:30. I note that the class starts at 12:55. What will the boys do during the interval? Do they go direct to the classroom? Is there any teacher at the classroom at that time?

My son will attend p1 p.m. class this Sept. I'm quite anxious about his school life. Hope you can share with me your experience.

令公子新學年係 B 晝，坐褓姆車同校車都會先接下午班回校，再接上午班放學的。返到學校唔會上課室，先在操場同朋友仔熱吓身，聊聊天，而小一生會安排到"劍仔街"玩，大哥哥唔會推撞到佢地。通常新學年頭一個月都會好熱鬧，好多家長都會陪學生回校，大家會覺得校園唔夠大，慢慢地適應過來， 小一生就會係學校周圍跑，好活潑。
小一家長會30號舉行，到時校方會好詳細介紹校園生活同規則，唔明就問老師啦。

I have a question, as my son will be pm class this school term, for pm class on Friday, how do kids handle their home work when the next day is long weekend, will that be difficult to cope with?

阿仔上個學期逢長週, 星期五功課係星期一先交o架.

Thanks for your advice.

As boys attending p.m. class have to arrive at school by 12:30p.m., they may need to finish their lunch around 11:30 a.m. I'm afraid that they may feel hungry after a long afternoon. What would your son bring to school for afternoon tea break? How long is the recess time?

I'm quite worried that my son will go playing during the recess time and forgot to eat the snacks. Any good idea?

As regards the extra-curricular activities, will these activities be conducted after school or on Saturdays. I'm now working out the schedule for my son in Sept. As he has to attend the class on every alternate Sat morning, it is impossible for me to arrange for some morning class on Sat. The only time slot left for interest class will be Sat afternoon as Sunday will be reserved for family activities. Do you have any good suggestion?

So the logic is, "星期五D 功課星期一先交", then after the Sat class, he will need to do the Friday + Sat homeworks and hand in on the following Monday, right?

下晝班係好早食飯架，
而D 仔掛住玩唔記得食呢….
成日都會發生係我個仔身上架！
雖則有兩個小息，但佢成日掛住打波！
好多時放學佢都餓到腳仔軟，
落校車先黎食個包，攪到晚飯又食唔落，
所以我個仔小二時係最瘦囉！
不過小一無得踢波，咁都會食野既。

我仔上學期係返下午班, 11:00am就食午飯la.......
我仔唔多食零食, 所以冇特別比野食佢帶返學, 而且我仔係prefer玩多d。 1年班只係可以射籃球。
我仔剛上1年班我都好多野擔心好似好徬徨咁ka, 不過放心,小朋友好快適應新環境, 佢熟左個地頭又有新朋友, 開開心心返學, 我就冇晒不安la.

係呢, 你仔仔邊班, 我侄9月都係B晝1年班。

係呀, 所以通常我會叫阿仔friday晚做咁d功課先, 不過少爺好懶:evil: 要三催四請先肯做:tongue:

係吖！我仔初時返小一，我喊添呀！
又怕佢呢樣，又怕佢嗰樣….
最怕無人同佢玩，又怕佢孤獨！
點知佢好快由一年班到六年班都識人，
日日都開開心心，我安落晒！！
最緊要父母都放鬆D，記住…記住….
小一唔守規舉，比老師寫手冊時有發生，
唔好太緊張，亦唔好鬧，唔係鬧怕佢架！
老師寫手冊只係話比家長知啫，
咁當然你都要同仔仔佢傾下，訓吓話喇…
寫手冊唔係好大件事，佢打黎搵你就係大件事了。

Thanks for your response.

How about interest classes? Will they be held after class on weedays or on Sat?

Do boys usually join these classes at school or outside institutes? How long will it take for P1 boys to finish homework? One hour or so? Do you think P1 boys can finish all homework at night and take extra-curricular activities in the morning?

What do teachers write on the handbook? Forgot to bring homework/books or improper behaviour or misconduct at school? Is it common that teachers will write remarks on the handbook for communication purpose?

Are there any meetings with teachers? twice a year after distribution of school report?

我仔冇參加學校既課外活動, 因為時間地點都唔夾.  而且校社比較細, 好多課外活動都唔會o係學校內做, 詳情我唔肯定, 有冇其他媽咪幫下Flyfish呀!

至於功課上學好少, 好快做完。 但下午學期會多d, 我仔懶又慢動作, 都試過要第二朝早d起身繼續做。

My son is in class 1B2. There is an introduction session on 30 Aug morning. Is this for P1 or all other classes.
