你 post 的link and  videos 我都睇哂，IBO 講得好清楚，the IB scores are largely based on predicted grades given by schools. 而 internal coursework assessment 亦全是自己學校做， IBO 只用past distribution 做一些 adjustment. (即係話學校話俾乜就乜，我IBO因為冇exam所以冇乜input )。同我講的一樣。
明白lB家長好想替子女貼金，但全世界都在詬病今次lB放水，各大學亦陸續放聲嚴正處理，你們愈描亦會愈肉酸。

我都認識一些lB狀元榜眼的家長，放榜當日歡天喜地，但發覺l B成績大發水後，大為擔心l B的認受性。

加上今次事件，讓愈來愈多人瞭解其混亂的scoring system，包括 syllabus 可以隨意大改又毫不透明，又隨意分exam route and  self -assess route, 又可夾雜非HL或非.syllabus A等的較淺科目，相當confusing.

恐怕IBO需要大肆改革學制和計分系統，才能挽回信心和聲譽。

其實今年IB 手鬆嘅情況的確令人不安，不過學生在過去兩年所遇上的困難，又值得同情。
但無論如何，應該不會影響今年入大學的選擇；因為大部分都手握CO甚至unconditional offer。不過對下一屆的學生就帶來不明朗因素；十月的PG, 學校會如何處理？大學收生對PG的要求會提高幾多？

其實講緊嘅應該係男直資啱啱起步做IBDP頭果兩三年，果陣可以選Lang B, 不過之後佢哋都要求D仔要下苦功讀兩科Lang A。

我見到有唔少人對今次IB成績鬆手的情度很有意見。一直以來DSE拿高分的百分比都比IB低很多。但係大學都適當的調整。以很多人關心嘅醫科為例DSE需要36分，IB要43以上才可以入讀。雖然可能有人對35vs43, 仍然覺得DSE較難。我覺得Yes and No. 因為DSE, IB 和 A Level 唔同學制好難100%對到。 只可以講前幾年IB和A Level的學生要拿到這個成績都唔容易。

A Level 從前年開始，IB今年開始，因疫情的關係成績鬆手左而打破之前三者的平衡，如果DSE成績百分比仍似以前一樣低。今年DSE人可能真係有影響。

我相信裡好多家長為子女計劃教育時，不會單單考慮成績和大學。唔人適合唔同嘅學制，教育亦都唔係只有分數。我相信很多人選IB, 因為覺得IB教育制度對學生將來全人的發展較優勝。自己覺得DSE可能因為成績％低，令到學生花大量時間去衝成績，而冇時間發展其他方面嘅知識。但係出來工作成績和分數真係冇什麼影響。

會否維持係130人呢個數定會再增加

SISHK 公布增加1名IB狀元共4人
43+人數不變 維持16人(歷屆新高)
所以新增狀元原本可能43或44分

The Class of 2021 has much to celebrate this year as they received their results for their International Baccalaureate Diploma today. A total of 28 students out of 44, scored at least 40 points. Three students obtained 45 points and another 13 students achieved at least 43 points.

DSE 6科36分應少於1千人(2%)
IB 43+ 2019年近2% 比例相若
上年升至近3% 今年可能邁向5%

other than internal coursework, the IA assessments 系比IBO assessed (if without physical exam)BTW, the quote by IBO is for students who didn't take physical exam.

In Hong Kong, most of the schools took physical exam  in May 2021. 即系跟番原先的計法： 80% 用考試成績。20%用IA ( this is the essay for each subjects , not ordinary coursework). 學校PG冇任何對final score 影響。
不過，當然IBO可能有adjust 考試分（who knows)
我係ex ib 家長.不過也只以事論事。

I can’t see how this editorial can represent “全世界” as this piece writer, Mary Ma, and the one quoted by her, a local education consultant, are definitely “local”……
