I have just finished reading the posts posted by all other ma, I concerned whether the phonics will be cancelled next term, I think I will write to the teacher to ask about this. As I am not certain whether I will help tung tung to apply for private primary class in the future (Phonics seemed to be a must by my colleagues). My girl don't like the phonics VCD, but she likes to sing the songs that Ms Vicki taught in class and she can pronounce the sound very well.

其實phonic 來來去去都係 a-z, 會唔會就算k2, 都係用返這些書, 然後加上complimentary呢?

I think there will be more than a-z, because I had bought the phonic flashcards from the school, the cards consist of sound like 'th','ch', etc, and those sounds are from book 4. Moreover, if I remember correctly, I had read the forum from those old Soka's ma (before I send my girl to this school), some ma said their kids know how to pronunce new words that they never learn before, and they considered that it as the merit of learning phonics.
