01年出生準備報考ESF的家長

今年的報名方法好像轉了,各家長有什麼心得可否分享吓?
我打算為女兒報Shatin Junior, 但分類後我是最後最後的一群,真擔心連interview都排唔到....anyway, 我想問份app應該几時寄出呢?除了填好份form及影印所需資料外, 還需其它如自我介紹信,profile(像本地名校那些)嗎?please advise! Thanks!

我打算為兒報 Kowloon Junior, 但分類後我是最後最後的一群, 份application form 應該 on or before 23rd September 寄出.

Mich,

Just fluent spoken English is enough. No reading at all for P1.

Of course try to train your kid to be brave enough to communicate with the "gui lo" is important.

You may bring her to visit the campus that the interview will be held to have her familiar with the environment. This helped my boy.

How come you can bring your boy to visit the campus? by appointment, by open day???

I also would like to ask whether copy of birth cert., passport etc. are required upon application.

Do u know when will be interview held?

Hello: My son is offered a place in ESF Sheung Wan Kindergarten for the Jan. 2006 intake. May I know if any of your children are studying there now? Would you like to share your experience with this school like how are the staff and the curriculum? Thank you very much!

Hi Gab,

My friend had send the application form to ESF Sheung Wan Kindergarten last year for her daugther to apply K1, but till now still on the waiting list. As my friend is local HK, she and her husband is speaking Cantonese. So she told me they may not have a chance for interview. You are very lucky and i guess your son is very smart.

Hi Space: We didn't apply until Nov. 2004. As of end of June, there was no space for my son until this month. I wonder if local HK students attending ESF Kinder will have a better chance of getting an interview with ESF Primary.

Why Jan 06? You only start from 2nd term.

Hi swimblue: they have 3 intakes every year, Jan., April and Sept. Your child will be admitted to the one closest to the 3rd birthday.
