小西灣 迦南 is a very good kindergarten. My son is studying in their PN class now and he can sing some English and Chinese songs. Besides, they have Mandarin teacher and NET. My son learn a lot there. Teachers call me from time to time to update my son's progress. You should not worry about the standard.
In term of environment, they have 3 floors so should have sufficient spaces for the kids to run around.
No. I live in Taikoo Shing, so my son goes on a school bus everyday. It takes about half an hour for him to get to school, not too bad. I think it's more safe to send him on a school bus than asking your maid to take him to school. There is a nanny on the school bus to look after all kids especially the small one. My son cried in the 1st two months but is perfectly fine now. I take him to the school bus most of the time before I go to work but the maid still need to take him home from the school bus after school.
