No problem. Glad to help.

Only Putonghua is taught, no Cantonese. They started offering both traditional and simplified about 4 years ago I think, so students now entering have a choice in traditional or simplified.

請問Alberta Education 或 AP 在香港本地大學的角度而言認受性高嗎？容易考得入本地大學，或者新加坡的大學嗎？（我是一個長期在香港工作的新加坡人。）

This has to do with the way the school is classified with the government. They need to have a minimum percentage of kids with foreign passports to satisfy the requirement, so local non-passport holding kids are left competing for fewer spots.

This question strikes me too... We just got an acceptance. We are christian family, now seriously considering this school. Hope someone can help.

Would this answer your question?  http://www.cais.edu.hk/program/beyond-graduation/

The list is of actual admission from graduates, and most of the universities in HK have admitted CAIS graduates in the past.

I would imagine the universities in Hong Kong would have no issues treating a Canadian secondary school diploma as equivalent.  As for AP, I wonder if the equivalent credit grant would be up to each individual university?  I would imagine the AP credits would be handled like transfer credits, no?

But then again, 12 years is a long time, and is hard to predict what the future holds...

See above regarding Alberta Education.

As a Christian family, I think you will be very satisfied with the Christian ethics of CAIS both from the staff (i.e. demonstration of love) as well as the curriculum itself. I think most of the other CAIS parents here on EK will probably vouch for this.

my daughter was interviewed on 17 Jan. Glad to know someone interviewed on the same date also not yet got notification, on the same boat!
