男拔從來不是靠一年／某一年的成績而成為名校，我不明白明年的成績有任何重要性？

就算是八十年代，男拔也有很多學生未能考上大學，有些甚至會考五科合格也未能達到〜

話時話，阿仔唔係入左去，我都以為靠成績及特異功能出名，好難怪其他人不知道。現在知道都未遲，無謂錯配。
你有沒有睇過本書講一個band 5 學生憑田徑入DB的故事，好有啓發性。

Yes, you are perfectly right. 杜文澤 is one example. This holds true for all of these 名校 even from 80's, not just DBS. So parents should be reminded that entering a 名校 doesn't mean everything. However, there are higher chance of these students from these 名校 still get a very successful career even though they are not doing very well academically.

DBS has very good support for sports. I was told that if you are good at sport, you can skip all the lessons. So you can be a students of the school for few years without attending the school. I don't how true it is but some parents like this style while some others thinks normal school life is very important for child development. This all depends on your choice.

我有聽過類似故事，不過唔係睇書，我相信過往都有唔少類似故事發生過，所以唔肯定係唔係你講果個〜
「水能載舟亦能覆舟」，有人覺得咁係改變左一生，亦有人認為，為左運動而放犧牲左讀書時間，係毀左佢一生〜

今次我撐板主喎
唔止面試差，簡介會都差，報考面試嗰日又差，走嗰陣同嗰放學同學大家塞住，垃圾行政，
我唔知之後有無改善，但真係我考咁多間學校，其他都無攪到我咁忟，仲要去交面試表嗰日，我太太話去廁所，啲校工話無安排，無安排唔緊要，但你要人排成粒幾鐘就唔該唸下，你好似其他學校快攪掂就話啫

交表要排好耐？我星期六去交表，都係好快就OK了！先去有蓋操場，果度已有洗手間，我都見有人去喎！之後上禮堂，都有好多COUNTER，都係等一陣就搞點。

不過你咁惗都好，如果你個仔有得2nd in,你千萬要有guts唔好去。最好而家就打電話同寫信比佢知你唔like佢。好多家長會好高興你咁做架，包括我。

I never believe in hearsay!! Think for yourself what I mean then. From my previous post, you can see that I'm very objective. I sympathize with all BK parents who has their child seeking P1 place and hope that I can share my own past experience and information with them. It's never be my business. Though many of my friends know the school very well, my only relation with the DBS is that my son had got the offer in P1 many years ago but he chose another school. I understand that alumni always protect their school but we still need to be objective. Otherwise it will demoralize the school image rather than helping it. From now on, I won't open any post in this topic again!!

前年, 我朋友就係不屑簡介會既安排, 去到學校排排下隊入禮堂佢都轉身走人, 唔會一路怨一路考, 我勁欣賞佢!!

然後, 佢比左張表我叫我仔去考, 我個仔就係咁無心插柳下傻下傻下咁考左入去 ( 因為我冇諗過考呢間 ) ~~

我到家下都仲好多謝佢!!

你唔考, 一定有好多家長多謝你!

一開始已經唔鐘意, 何苦仲要委屈自己去考呢?

當年有d學校, 去完開放日後, 我覺得唔鐘意, 都唔會去考囉~~

Totally agree with you.

This thread is far much longer than I expect.

If one dosen't like it, just don't go for it. One who applied a school got to do some research and understand what's the school about . Keep complaining and arguing is meaningless.

我絕對讚同, 如果真系咁唔好, 記得收到 SECOND IN 的時間時都唔好去其實好多野都系一兩個既感受, 而且都唔系DBS讀緊既人,
只有我同戀仔狂這些在讀的家長才有權批判學校的支援夠唔夠,佢地師兄的成績好唔好.....
不如你地入左先再去批評好嗎?????
