Wow, that's very high success rate. Your daughter school must be highly preferred by DGS. Which school is it ?

My daughter is also invited to attend the 2nd interview.

KTS, as far as I know, at least 9 girls. They are interviewed on the same day.

It was said that it would take only a few days before the applicants who had 2nd interview to receive acceptance letter (in case of success).

DGS Application

DGS grouped the girls in same school for interview. Do u think she will equally give seats to different schools? My daughter school has 7 girls but most of them got prizes and outstanding. What do u think? Do u think she will only give limited seats for girls from same school?

Hi DoublesOs,

As far as I know (last year's experience), there is no limit for each school. Mrs. Lau can take as many as she likes from any school but the basic rule applies --- only those who are smart, confident, presentable, aggresive..... (excluding those who have special connection & talent).

Be confident on your daughter & yourself and forget about those rumours which do not help.

Great.....it sounds that your daughter really enjoyed her interview and was full of confidence.

If your daughter did well at school and in the interview with Mrs. Lau, I believe she still has a good chance to get in. This is what happened to my daughter last year. Of course, it is absolutely helpful if you girl holds any "BIG" external prize/award. Otherwise, there is no "BIG" difference for those "small" prize/award.

Sorry I can't name the exact but something like No. 1 or champion of inter-school sports/music/choral speaking --- individual /solo classes. Of course, international competition prizes would be even better. However, how many champions are there? And not all champions will appy for DGS......right?
