聖若瑟好tough，父母無番咁上下qualification 都入唔過。  佢地嘅reader 係用Wide Ranger Reader，好深。每次考試或測驗要考兩至三個故事。老師教reader每日教四五版，叫做教了故事大意，其實父母回家要每隻字教識小朋友，因為考oral 要讀，考英文要識解要做Fill in Blank 。

數學係英文數。到四年級有Science。常識和Science每年各一個project。唔好諗住小朋友會做得掂。  學校要求一份十幾版A4紙，用”font 12” 打的Formal Report (即是有Index Page, Introduction, Content, Conclusion, Reference 嗰種)。如果小朋友讀得上，英文程度一定比出面大部學生好。

仲有，小學8班，中學5班。想上佢嘅中學就要係三百人中考七十名內至有比較確實的機會。競爭好大。  萬一入唔番中學，灣仔個中學網又好差。  總之，要入聖若瑟先要諗清楚。

GreyParrot's comment is very accurate. my friend's boy is studying in st joseph, the mother complaints to me that even all school notices/memos are written in english. the parents, somehow, find difficulties in reading them!

of course, i admit that st joseph is much much better than kauyan. do consider if u can afford time to your boy and his ability, as it's really not easy to study in st joseph. however, as if your boy is accepted by st joseph... why not give your boy a try!

St. Joseph of course.

Although only half can go to St Joseph secondary, the standard of the remaining half are still better than those from other schools and so more competitive.

Besides, Kau Yan 何常又唔係冇中學？

救恩學校雖成績或不及聖約瑟，但它勝在校長老師有愛心，以教好學生為己任，

救恩注重小朋友各方面的發展.

發表意見的媽咪多傾向選擇聖若瑟,請問大家為小朋友選校時是否僅看成績?

My son also accepted by St.Joseph (Wanchai), so happy & lucky, just like a dream.
But now , I begin to worry . Still go on and try or give up .
According to your info.,Raimondi & St.Louis , which one is better.

Please comment.

How many marks have you got? Why is this school your dream school? I know some boys struggling for survival in this school. You will find out more if you talk more to parents of this school.

據我了解，St. Paul Boy 都唔錯，又可以直升上中學。不過係直資要俾學費。

但是，St. Paul Boy 教英文就冇聖若瑟咁有經驗。聖若瑟一至三年級用自己出的Grammar Worksheets，可以用個"正"字形容，學生嘅英文grammar底打得唔錯。

我覺得St. Paul Boy的老師比起聖若瑟好得多，一班冇咁多學生，細心d。學校對家長都客氣d，可能係轉咗直資，家長就等於客。

I'm not familiar with both Raimondi & St. Louis.  So, I can't give any comments.  But, I know St. Louis Secondary acquires their primary pupils if they achieved band 1 and band 2.  The competition among the pupils must be less than St. Joseph's.

I would say, if your boy is mature enough, concentrate and independent, you may try St. Joseph's first.  The boy must be very hardworking if he wants to get good result in St. Joseph's.
