Dear all K1 Parents

I would like to share my experience to you all!

The school practices will not write memo/notes on notebook to remind students to buy/bring things to school.  School use this method to train-up students to remember things by their little brain and of course their responsibilities!

According to my experience, even students are within the same class and same group, they sometimes need to bring different things to school.  For example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, some kids were asked to bring Moon Cake, some were asked to bring Star Fruit, some brought grapes etc.....

School usually give students 1 week time for kids to bring stuffs to school (for art craft), that means, if one kid forgot to bring his/her stuff, once he/she saw others can do so, he/she will be reminded at that moment.  Of course, teacher will remind those forgot once again!

Thanks for your info - I'm sure this is one of the ways to help our kids to remember their school work. BTW, my girl said nothing about bringing things to school ? As what "claire11" has mentioned: each class/ teacher will assigns different task(s) for student(s).

Is is a song they learned in AV room. The lyrics is

We sing a song happily together.. you sing... I sing (sorry, I don't know how to type Chinese)

My girl remembered when we were playing an English song. Since the melody is the same, she managed to sing it in Putonghua.

Circle/Square
=========
I am sure about the circle. Ms Chan told me this when I picked up my girl. About the square, I think so too. They are learning shapes.
Whenever my girls sees Circle, she will say "Round Sharp - Circile". When she sees Square, she says "This is a Square with corners"

Apples

Two days ago, my girl asked me for an Apple to bring to school. I don't know the purpose and I have not checked with Ms Chan.

I bought the winter uniform last Sat.

Blazer and blue cardigan - size 3 out of stock

You are buy the cardigan anywhere and pay a deposit for the blazar.

Socks - HK$15 per pair at Joseph. I bought 4 pairs and found out later from other stores that they are cheaper ($12 only for the same brand)

My girl has sung some greeting song in Putonghua last week. ' How are you .... etc'

She was asked to bring the square (last week), apple (Tuesday) and mosturizing lipstick (Wednesday).

For the school uniform, I have already brought the blouse, skirt and blazar at Joseph. For the cardigan, I just bought it at Chickeeduck.

Where can I buy the cheaper $12 knee long sock? I have bought some knee-long sock at Marks and Spencer but it's not tight enough and will slip down easily.

各位K 1 家長,

聽我女女講, 今日 Garden Party好開心呀! 另外, 今日問左班主任, 話明天生日會唔需要特別以Halloween 裝扮回學校, 佢話因K 1 小朋友太細,未懂得住, 但高年級既 (K 2 & K3) 就會作打扮wor.. ([size=small]Zen, 妳囡囡話明天唔坐學校車wor .. so sweet , 妳帶佢返學 ?) :wink:

I guess the school doesn't provide all the lyric.

Do you have the CD box set "Maggie" (from Bear). The melody is the same as "Our School will Shine" (song #20 of Vol 1)
