Only parents are allowed to enter the NICU. Brian can only see her pics and videos.

Tomorrow is the first day of 'Halloween' in Disneyland. I guess it will be crowded.

hi, moms,
Glad the weather was great yesterday, we finally went to Disneyland. Out of expectations, there weren't too many people. We just needed to line up for ~10-15 min at most for most rides and some rides just no need to line up. Preston was much better than 2 years ago, he's more willing to try the rides. It's quite expensive to go there, we spent more than $2000 for the day.

It's only our 2nd time to go to Disneyland. Last time was almost 2 years ago. Everything is expensive. The tickets, food, drinks and soveneirs. Actually, we also brought our maid with us and treated her for the day.

Good to know that it was not crowded in Disneyland. When I told Brian that Preston went to Disneyland, he asked why we didn't go.

Dear all,

I found it difficult to find a suitable newspaper clipping for Brian to bring to school every week. I prefer some funny news. It took me an hour to find a news for Brian last night.

I also found it difficult to find a news clipping every week. Also Preston was not interested in cutting news.

We went hiking yesterday with my friends(totally 5 families with 6 kids at similar age) and we walked from Wan Chai (mid-level) to Aberdeen. The kids did very good and we walked for more than 4 hours. It's a great day for hiking.

Dear all,

Too bad that the visit to Art Museum is cancelled due to bad weather. Brian told me yesterday that he will go to see some pictures and maps(?!). I guess the school will rearrange the visit.

It's good to know that the kids could walk for that long. Did Preston feel tired afterwards?

He's soooooo tired afterwards and fell asleep on the bus after 10 min. and went to bed at 9pm that night. But it's a good training for the kids.

Too bad the outing was cancelled and hope they will reschedule soon.

Too bad that the outing was postponed once again but am sure that it will be rescheduled.

I also remember that we went for hiking a year ago in Sai Kung & Davin could also walk a lot. I do like hiking but now I think it's still a bit too hot.

Both my husband and I don't like hiking much, so we seldom bring Brian out for hiking.

The visit to Art Museum will be postponed to next Friday. I hope the weather will be fine then.

Preston is sick today. Just took him to the doctor, said he got a stomach flu and fever. He's fine this morning and suddenly got sick. I guess the weather change make us easy to get sick.

Davin also suddenly got sick on Friday & took leave. He vomited & had fever. The school called me & said other kid in the other class also had this symptom. Then in the afternoon the Health Dept also called me. The school is quite nervous this time. Fortunately, Davin is fine today.

Preston was much better now. It's the 1st time he vomited at school. The school called me after he had lunch and my maid went and picked him up. He had fever afterwards. We took him to the doctor and said he had stomach flu. Luckily he did not vomit again. Who else had the same symptoms? If a few of them got sick, then the school need to do some disinfection of the classroom to make sure the flu won't spread. ljsze, the health dpartment has not contacted me yet.

Learning the case of Preston, I think maybe Davin (and other kids) really got infectedby certain virus at school.

Davin is taking Enopi Math class at the centre in Funful Art (266 Prince Edward R W). You may check its website for centre in your neighbourhood.

Has Davin recovered? Back to school today?
What's is he learning now at e.nopi math? Preston just started his new math class on sat. Mr. Wu Shing seems to be quite strict. Over the weekend Preston is willing to practice and now already knows addition and subtraction of 1 digit after 1 class.

Davin is fine now & was back to school today.

I can't say Davin has a big progress in math as he has taken only lesson for a month. I will not push him and I'm not that anxious in having him proceed in a fast pace.

Good to hear that Preston can manage addition and subtraction so quickly.

Preston is quite advanced in Maths.  Subtraction is difficult for kids of his age.  It's good that he can manage subtraction well.

Brian is in Level 4A in Kumon: numbers writing.  Can't imagine he has to write numbers again and again in 20 pages.  I myself feel bored when watching him doing the homework!  I hope something more interesting will be coming soon.

Good to know that Davin is fine now.  Does he need to take any more medicines?  The air quality is quite bad in these few days and I got sore throat as well.

I'm not too keen on Preston doing addition or subtraction at this stage. But this胡成珠心算 is to train kids the conentration, coordination of eye, ear and hand. He's the 1st man who teaches it and 歡樂今宵did an interview with him more than 10 yrs ago. Anyway, I plan to let him take 珠心算 in Whampoa but my friend highly recommend it so we travel to Cheung Sha Wan (my friend from HK side) to take the course. The best thing is that he teaches the class by himself. I also got good comments from BK members. I hope it worth it to make such a big effort to go.

Once 4A is over, it's more interesting doing 3A (addition). But it's not easy to get through this stage. I'm just worried if continue Kumon until P1, it's too much to do every day plus school homework. My friend's son (just P1) needs to cut to 5 pages a day coz of the heavy workload.
