妳這麼緊張,我看妳還是試吓現在去考其它學校吧,好等小朋友能早點習慣,因現在已升K2了,要轉校我看最遲只能在今年.

我只是想知道有什麼方法可有效教導小朋友？有甚麼策略?有沒有成功的例子?

小女08年要讀N1 啦,
因我想揀返基督教學校,故此靈糧堂都係我睇緊既其中一間,
請問係咪好難入架?
聴人講靈糧堂會比較深嗎?

要interview, 家長陪着小朋友，老師問一些簡單問題, 老師會觀察小朋友的反應，不難的, 放心.
靈糧堂是一間令小朋友快樂的學校。

不好意思,是我誤會妳在選擇轉校與不轉校的問題,
妳會否嘗試幫他報讀一些英文/普通話班,
另其實小學派位好似是要看回妳住那一區,
如妳住的地區是妳心儀學校的校棢,派到該校的機會,會比外區大一點.

KLLC is a happy kinder and workload is not heavy.
As you may aware, students are all very happy to go to
school.

If you look for a kinder with heavy emphasis
on academic (like writing, dictation, P1 like training), you may consider to change to another kinder.

As mentioned by some parents, KLLC will not guarantee
you a famous Primary school P1 place. Instead, your kid
will be a mature, confident and positive-attitude person.

If you look around the classmates of your kids, you will
find that many are younger brother or sister of some
KLLC graduates or senior students. This suggests that
parents have strong confidence in KLLC and send their
second or even third kid there to have kinder education.

The following information may be useful to understand
the future of KLLC graduates.

There are 130 students graduated from KLLC in this
year 2006/2007. 110 students got their P1 places via
government allocation and the remaining 20 students
admitted to DSS or private schools.

For government allocation, some students can get into
馬頭涌，陳瑞琪，or even Marynoll etc.
Of course, this depends on luck or personal factors.
The government allocation is rather good in this year:
over 50% students get their 1st choice.

For DSS or private schools, students are admitted to
禮賢，真道，德望 etc. Of course, if you compare to some
famous kinders (like SC or KV), these results may not
be satisfactory. However, this shows that KLLC students
are also competitive in applying to some good primary
schools. In fact, DGS and DBS also admitted KLLC
graduates in the past.

If you are really concerned with academic training, you
can always bring your kid to attend some workshops or
classes in outside centres.

You have to judge which way is the best for your kid:
happy childhold or advanced academic training in early
education.

I got a relative who studied in Cannan KG (Tsuen Wan) and was admitted to 林護 in P.1 by govt allocation (they live in Tsuen Wan). Then she got very good school grades and then was changed to Maryknoll afterwards in P.2. She's now P.5 and still in the upper batch among the students.
Her mother didn't do anything special when the girl is still in KG, just revise the word cards made by Cannan. Also, they didn't arrange any extra-curricular activities for her, except starting piano lessons in K.2.
If your 99 still complaint of the school, and your girl can manage the new schooling extremely well, you may consider to change the school for her. Govt allocation is not so important.

I saw on the news this morning that they already had 1000+ ppl lining up to get in.

Can you let us know if there is any good stuff? My son is into stickers book at the moment. I wonder if they have any there.

汇报昨天书展情形：

昨天3:30入場，不是太多人，完全不用排队，但只行了hall 5，因为大约5:30想行hall 1已经开始多人。
今年的收获:
- 新雅：拿了两本免费的小跳豆
- 木棉樹：拿了1本免费的木棉樹
- EVI: subscribe 左网（记得讲学校名，有个平d的价格，gum我晤洗等到迟d学校通知先用，现在就可以同Jun玩)
- 芥子园：订左呠呠車杂志（有礼物送仲有抽奖）
- 买左几本大陆习作，儿歌连碟同泥胶书 (total $86)
- Brother： Mickey Mouse Label Machine ($2xx 纸盒，如果胶盒就要$3xx, label tape 就每盒平$10)，有礼物送
- 3m长的自动粘贴包书胶
- GC: Picture Book Language Series 中的 “视觉语言”無字书共5本（＄279）
- 景行：Magic Wand 新的中文版套书
有时间就下个礼拜再去，想23号下午去，看看有没有请货大平卖
