Hello! My girl is now in K1. Her brother is a small BB (born in Oct) and is going to apply for SPK this year. Any chance to get in? Should I ask for my girl's teacher's help?

各位

我都好擔心個女入唔番spc, 不過我所知, k2 既表現都好緊要, 因為一入k3, 已經係9月要收信了, 所以k2 既report 都好緊要, 至於如何select 上小學, 係要interview既, 由小學修女選生, 所以真係唔知咩原因.. 有人可以上spc, 有人上唔到, 究竟係個學生係interview 時表現唔好, 定係真係唔夠位, 根本唔知道.

只好講句.. 祝大家都好運, 我女仲係下午班tim, 真係希望佢入spk時既運仔仲有... 一路上spc 啦...

I personally do not believe

the rumor that 30 students in p.m. are on waiting list, i.e. 10 students in a class in average are on waiting list.

Hi all K2 mums,

Take it easy..... I just learnt that there're less than 10 kids from pm session on waiting list (not too sure). In my girl's group, all of them (15 kids) are o.k.

The interview which was hold in mid September is as follows :
the 15 kids are sitting as a group in round circle. Sr. Cheung, the principal of primary session will be mixed with them. It was just last for 10 - 15 minutes. The classmistress as well as Sr. Kwan will be waiting outside their classroom. My girl said that they will chat in Cantonese as well as in English, and the topics covered school life, general knowledge e.g. what kinds of fruit has biggest seeds and smallest seeds ?

I think that those on waiting lilst will still have the chance because some of the kids may leave SPC and choose Marymount, Maryknoll, SPCC etc.
right now the Kinder has 180 kids and not sure of the nursery class, let's say (50) then 180 + 50 - 20 boys (approx) = 210. The no. of seats in Primary is 40 x 5 classes = 200. The difference of those 10 (approx) should be the ones choose to leave the SPC and replaced by those on waiting list.

Just let your kid enjoy the happy kinder lives here.

6 from the 2 classes of SPN (N4).

I have heard from my friend who lived in NT before that SPN Tai Po student was admissed by SPC.

My friend is not a Catholic.

Do u mean 6 for the two SPN class or for each of SPN class? About the Tai Po SPN, a lot of people said it doesn't has any connection to the SPC, do u mean it's status is the same as the Causeway Bay SPN?

So your friend's case is the same as SPK's case, parents just can't tell why these girls are being put on the waiting list, they don't have any problem with the academic result nor the discipline side. But I still believe there will be seats released later if some girls got seats from the government subsidized school. BTW, is your friend a Catholic?
