English drama course

Dear parents,

My girl is interested in English drama courses.
Does anyone know any good drama courses offered in Kowloon side??

Please help. Thanks a lot.

Hi, all,

After doing some research in google, I found the website of "One stop" English drama in TST which looks OK.

Any comments about this centre?

Have any of your kids attended their course before??  

Please help!!

Or, any other suggestions?

My son who will turn 5 soon has been attending the drama course since last Oct. Last Mar, he was on the stage with his classmates and got the Certificate from Trinity UK. He will be on the stage again end of the month and I can't wait to see it.

My purposes of letting my son to join the course are as follows:-
1. Provide him with more exposure
2. Let him interact with other kids and learn to respect other
3. Learn to be a team player

So far he is happy to be there. Other than drama, One-Stop also offers phonics and creative writing courses which my son hasn't attended. However, I personally participated in an outing during Easter that the kids went to TST to interview tourists. They had the pre-set questions to ask the tourists and the whole dialogue was recorded.

Also, I understand that some students are trained to join the Speech Festival.

English realist Drama Class

We are doing real time drama with professional Native English Drama teachers. If u like to know more u can call 2658 1413(barred numbers will not be answerd). I don't really know. I will pick up my son today and will ask then. My experience is normally the parents, helpers and relatives attend the show. Ticket is HK$60 each and venue is PolyU this time.

To share with you guys, I accidentally met my friend at One-Stop. She told me that she had met Mrs. Georgina Fettes (the person in charge) in last year Speech Festival. Her son represented the kindy and she observed and appreciated very much the way Georgina taught/trained her students. So she let her son join One Stop since then.

Anyway, will come back to you later then.

From what I have observed, kids there are from 3  years old up to teenagers. In fact, in order to do the play, kids of different ages are required, depending on their roles in the play.

If you have any enquiry, just ring them. They had the performance yesterday. My son will play his part tomorrow and I just can't wait for it.

the following centre provide eng drama course as well, my son has been with this centre since 2yr3 mo and he is now almost 4.  They opened their KLN centre in aug.

My son will go to the first class today.  I will let you know soon.  But I think it will not bad since this course is very popular in Kids Gallery and long line up for Saturday class.
