If I would like to apply for 2007 Year 1, do I need to submit my application now or later in September as with other ESF schools.  In which month(s) is the interview usually held?  Thanks.

Do I need to apply RC (just like others ESF schools) when my son is studying at K2?  i.e. they accept child who completed K2?   Thanks a lot.

RC is accept the kid study P.1 when they are 5 years old. If your kid finish K2, then can study in their P.1 as Interantional school P.1 is start from5 years old.  If your kid finihs K3,than they will put yuor kid to P.2.
My daughter also go RC school after finish K2.

Kareese,

Parents usually park their cars outside the school.  I sometimes park there & never received ticket before^_^.  If you don't want to take the risk, there is indoor parking in 'Lai Kok Tsuen' (~$20 per hour) opposite to the school.

Is there any Civil Service Dad/Mum whose child is studing in PIS or will study in RC?  My child will go to RC in the coming school year.  I however do not find PIS or RC in the approved school list.  Can we apply for LEA?  Many thanks for your advice.

PIS was once in the Int'l School list for LEA.  ie. It was eligible for applying LEA.  

But it seems PIS has been deleted from the updated school list for LEA in the CSB's website.  Guess ESL hasn't updated the info. of RC with the govt.  Better call ESL to confirm it.

My husband call the ESL already and told them PIS change to RC from Sept. But, they said that they don't know yet and she will check it and reply him later on but not yet get reply from them.

Thanks for the advice.   I have also checked the web-site of EMB and do not find RC's registration yet. Shall I need to submit application for LEA now as the related procedures state that application should be made on or before 15 July preceding to the commencement of the school year?

I'm not a Civil Services staff.  I just checked the info. from the govt. website where I could find the list of local/int'l schools which are eligible for LEA.

Dear Long2Ma,

As I've mentioned I'm not a Civil Service staff, I don't know the procedures on how to claim CS LEA.  But I think you have alreay paid the 1st month's deposit of the school fee.  Have you got  the official receipt from ESL?  If not.  Maybe you can call ESL to send you the receipt by post.

I guess you could approach the Personnel Section of your department to solve the problem as those people working there should know how to and are trained to deal with such problem, at least they know where to get the solution. Regards.

The Personnel Section of my department told me that I could apply eventhought RC was still not on the list.  As long as the school is a registered school in EMB, there will have no problem.
