If you don't mind to pay the school fee, both are Chinese Primary.  I vote APS.  APS is a good school and is in Kowloon Tong net.  The result of secondary central allocation is good.  Go ahead.  '味' 讀已有咁嘅negative feeling.  APS la.

你小朋友未入學就已經咁嬲,六年係一個漫長既日子,無謂自己辛苦呀 ! 以我意見,你可以開番個topic問下個間津校現在家長實際情況是否真的如你想得咁差？否則宣小當然是一個好選擇啦!

另我想問下你九小交左書簿費,咁又留宣小,又留九小,遲些九小要你交學費時,你又要諗過,會唔會諗到頭痛呀！

Dear 7895,

I think both school are good and they do share some similarities.  The big difference is one is private and the other is subsidized.  If you don't mind to pay for the coming six years and you child has interests in music, I would say APS is quite a good choice.  Without paying, the principal also got less choice on their intake of students.  That may get more diverse backgrounds and ability of the P1 students.  My own opinion is that it is not a bad school so you may try to put down your anger and think about it.

One more to remind you that is on 29th, you may need to put down a lot of payment for books, uniform, summer class if participate so don't be scare for the amount of one day payment.  But there are not much to follow.   They are quite reasonable.

I think both schools are good.  You shouldn't be a loser by going either way.

Let's take a look assuming you go with APS.  Assuming the tuition fees + school bus etc would cost you $3000 a month, then you would spent $150,000 throughout 6 years school life of your son.  Is this a significant amount of money to you?  (your choice will be obvious if your anwser is a 'yes')

Have you talk to the principal and teachers in APS? did you get along well with them?  my point is that a beautiful girl isn't yours if you two don't get along well, especially you two are to be facing each other for the next 6 years !!!

If all things are equal (equally good or equally bad), then I would go for one that do not charge me tuition fees.

Other than LMC, my daughter was also accepted by another nice school which I and my wife like.  However, after some talks with other parents we knew, almost everyone said we should not miss the chance to LMC !!!

By the way, I don't think the donation is compulsory but in voluntarily basis instead so you can pretend you didn't hear it before.  My nephew goes to LMC too and I never heard from my sister and brother-in-law that they donated any money.

我冷靜咗一日, 今曰同孩子的class teacher 訴過.
她們說其實所有小學也有同一個捐X 嘅問題,好似早年APS DGS 起校舍,St. Mary 裝冷氣 etc.佢話喺我有Ｄ吾慣又或者因為個話是人太老實,喺就喺有Ｄ唐突,但喺若果比佢都揀沙田嗰間.   

又話所有津校受監管,書不可好似KTS咁用高半級.只可已用練習紙提升程度.

我要同大家講嘅喺！我要開始麻醉自巳.... swimming pool 好, swimming  pool 冇得頂, 一入pool 門深似海.
