請問有冇人申請過 GSIS?

本人上月申請, 己付 application fee & assessment fee 合共$2400. 但昨收到通知信, 通知一月七日進行  assessment 並要再交$1200 assessment fee. 話說是新policy. 但沒有解釋是什麼原因!

請問這間 international school 是否非常牟利?

If you have to pay $1200 for the assessment on top of the $2400 you already paid for, then it's really profit-making.  Normally, application fee is around $1000-$1500.  Some school charges for assessment fee and some don't.  However, it sounded like there is a misunderstanding.  They shouldn't ask you to pay for another assessment fee while you already paid for it.

Have called the GSIS. They said I don't need to pay for the assessment fee again, since I have paid already when I handed in my application.

By the way, as GSIS is a half-day school, do you think if it is a problem for a single child to stay at home lonely in the afternoon every day? (as he already get used to full-day school)
