The GCE grading system is one of the most relaxed on Earth, I suspect. The % of A is over 30% and passing rate is over 90%, if I remember correctly. Oxbridge consider 3A's are just too common and have to set up their own admission exams.
HK's is getting worse (3-4% A's for science subjects), as compared to 1% years ago, but still not as 'bad'. |
