另你覺得面試中,家長及小朋友表現佔怎樣比重?

我大女的斑大多數是一月前出生, 我大女五月只有兩人細過佢. 我大女有個同學個妹係大女都唔收.好似話家長比重多過小朋友, 哭一定唔收. 我個大女第一日開學只有三個人哭.

收生準則到而家大家都係估估下, 問過修女都無明確答案.

SPK discriminates 'small girls' obviously.
It means they want girls good to teach, not good girls in learning.
It is evan worser than Po Shan which discriminates less rich families, because the date of birth should be not a major criteria for selection for a good KG.

My girl was born in Nov, that means if I want to apply, she must be a "big girl" la!
The age range for SPK is in fact a fake one!
Is it worth to wait for 1 more year to become a "big girl" in order to apply? Can anyone advise?  Thanks.

I cannot accept any KGs just want to have 'big kids' like St. Paul or Pui Ching, thet should feel shame for that and it is unfair for others.
Some good KGs have little consideration on the month of birth should be respected especially, like CCKG, SKH

so, I have no expectation. Just for a trial. Maybe try it next year

Small kids accepted not because of the brightness, how can those interviewers can judge in 2/3 minutes time with routine questions; they are accepted only if you have certain 'connection' or 'relationship'.

Don't worry. I heard from my friends the smallest kids is Sept.

Just wait the result on 20/3 la!

Do hope all of us can be accepted.

But for me, my daughter had been accepted by Sacred Heart. But if St paul accept her, I do worry will she be lag behind as she is born on 10.2004?

My daughter's class has one small girl which is born in Sept, hwr, she has a sister who is also studying in SPK, I don't know if you will treat this kind as "connection" or " relationship".  

Big girl do have advantage in SPK as they are more mature, most of time they will be selected for singing competition or storytelling competition, etc.

It is a 'conenction' if she has a elder sister studying in SPK, parents normally talked and established some relationship with the teachers if they want their younger kind to study at the same KG.

SPK may be still a good KG, but its discrimination of age may violate the belief of  equality and fairness.
