Problem of change teeth... for kids...

Anyone knows about how many tooth will usually have for a kid about 6 yrs old. Due my son is almost 6 yrs old now, he got 2 tooth was changed in about 2 months ago. But I just found that he got another "big teeth" coming out from these few days....(understand???)even the "big teeth" before was not came out yet....

你所指的 "big teeth"是否大牙？
小兒在４個月大時已長乳齒，現在快７歲了，已長了４隻
門齒（上下各２隻）及下頷的２隻犬齒．

入面出嗰隻係大臼齒，是恆齒來的，又名「六歲齒」。
因為生得入，而小朋友刷牙不太好的話，好容易會蛀的。
所以學童牙科保健，會替小朋友在呢幾隻牙上加coating，
咁咪會好D囉，我建議用電牙刷，刷得好D。

佢D同班既都換左7-8隻了，

我個仔8個幾月至出牙.  而家6歲3個月, 完全未有動靜甩牙.  連佢自己都問點解未換牙.  我唔等牙科保健喇, 下星期六同佢去dentist度check下.

你個小朋友K.3應該未出大臼齒，你有無睇到？
我個仔小二剛剛7歲，早兩、三個星期同我講，
最入牙肉好唔舒服，我見紅紅腫腫仲以為佢熱氣。
之後佢又話入面好似有個窿？！我見到入面有點白。
琴晚再睇，已出左約三份一隻牙，所以你先check吓仔仔D牙先。
牙科保健小一先有，$20一年，上年小一學期尾先去，
當時未出大臼齒，所以只是普通check up。
我聽高年班家長講如果生齊了，
牙科保健便會做coating (只是大臼齒做coating)，
但我仔只出了左面第一隻，睇吓出齊先喇。

小朋友三歲應當開始定期到牙醫診所檢查牙齒.  保持乳齒健康都好重要.

My girl got her first teeth at 4 months old and started to change teeth when she turned 5.  Could anyone recommend a good dentist for kids please? I live on the HK side.

Hi 麟媽媽 ,
I am sure that he got the "big teeth" coming on the his right side. By the way, it just saw a tiny white bit coming out on his left side as well. FYI, even my son is studing in K3, he is 5yrs and 10 months old already. By the way, if you said that the big teeth will come out after 6 years old. How many tooth all together after the 4 大臼齒 came out. Will it be 24?? Due I found that my son got 20 tooth now except the very end 大臼齒 coming out now.. If so, do I have bring him to put coating on his 大臼齒??compulsory or not???
Pls kindly advise...

Dear LilianSze,

每邊上下左右共會生出8隻大臼齒，
成人共有28隻牙，如果出埋智慧齒便是32隻了。
如果而家只是出了一點點，
你等佢出晒先諗coating都唔遲，不過要刷好D牙。
你個仔有無去牙醫度check過，
我個仔幼稚園時我同過佢去見牙醫，
食糖多喇，有隻小臼齒要補呀！

我係叫我老公個同學同佢check的，
但佢係做政府clinic，佢都唔可以幫我仔補牙的。
不過佢refer過另一個牙醫比我，係北角的，都OK。

Hi 麟媽媽,

Yes, I did check with the dentist before his 大臼齒 came out. They did notice that my son have 大臼齒 coming out before when he checking his teeth...
But anyway, I will wait for it to be bigger first before I bring him to see the dentist again....
