SFA VS La Salle

Hi, 各位媽咪 :

如果SFA 同La Salle, 你地會點揀 ?

SFA - 英文程度高, 小朋友可以打好根基, 但需付學費, 及無中學聯系, 6年後又擔心一次, 且升中的深水埔網不及油尖旺的中學網咁靚

La Salle - 不用付學費, 有直屬喇沙書院, 且中學網較好.  但standard好似不及SFA, 因SFA有90%以上Band1, La Salle只有67%是Band 1

If you were me, how could you choose ?  Please state reason

我會選 La Salle, 因有直屬中學, 學校設施完備, 又不用交學費; 而SFA雖然是一間好學校, 程度高, 但可惜沒有直屬中學, 到升中時又要煩多一次, 而且校網不是太好.

喇沙同長天及英華好似差左幾皮喎。

入左喇沙，你只須要make sure仔仔在中游，之後便無憂。在SFA，就算仔仔是band1，都不能保證入到top的中學。

in fact you can try SFA and if you get a seat, you can have it as backup and try the lucky draw.

I say cheung sha wan and ying wah is not bad even not as top as LS. Agree that if get a seat both all will choose LS

Of course, La Salle!

Many private primary schools like Kowlooon Tong, Alliance, Kowloon Rehenish have band 1 rate over 90% but there is no gurantee for their students to top famous school like La Salle Secondary. The Shamshuipo net is no good at all and I personally don't like Ying Wa as it has no track record of excellent HKCEE results like 6As or above. For Cheung Sha Wan it is just a Band 2 top secondary school. For years both secondary schools would not dare to publize their HKCEE results though both are good schools.

Cheung Sha Wan is band 2? Are you sure, it is famous when I was small, I think I need to study the banding of all schools before picking the choice in primary

SFA or La Salle?

Just ask yourself which secondary school you prefer.  Actally, most SFA boys are targeting the La Salle Secondary school as told from my friend.  (I am NOT SFA parent)

La Salle-- simply because of its strong all-rounders and well known school. Being LaSallian is proud! Boys are active and confident.
SFA-- maybe it has improved since the past, but in the eyes of older generation like myself, i will prefer La Salle since I haven't heard much of SFA.

多謝認同。不過你好似改左我個post，我寫「長天」而唔係「油天」喎。不過無所謂，喇沙同「油天」都係差兩皮。

無論SFA或喇沙都唔易讀，唔好以為入左去就自動成為TOP學生，家長都仲要花好多時間栽培架。
