Hello Marie,

There are 5 sets of Little Kiss series for Taiwan version. (Information from the taiwan bookzone website ) By the way, I find the taiwan version which is published by 小樹苗教育出版社 available at hkptu (but each book cost you about $20).

For the China version, it's published by 外硏社 Noddy story books is also from this publisher. According to their website, they've published from 亲亲自然学英语 A-D.  (I think the set E will be available soon, since the set C an D is just release in Apr 2004)

Each set contains 5 books + 1CD + 1 reading guide.
(in the CD, for each book chapter it will read the English once, then a song, then repeat the english , then last time it will read in madarin.)

But right now, only the set A and B are available at 大陸書店  (the staff said that they will import the set C and D later.)

Try to visit the www.ewonderland.com.cn to read more information. They have some sample pages and sound track.

Yes the books are bilingual. In Both  English and Chinese (simplified chin.), and the words are in quite large size.

《亲亲自然学英语》系列丛书是专为3-12岁儿童编写的英汉双语对照科普读物，现出版两套，内容涉及动物、植物以及自然界中的许多知识。丛书的目的是让孩子“真真实实看自然、轻轻松松学英文”。儿童阅读完这两套丛书后，不仅可以认识许多自然界中的物体，学习到丰富的科普知识，还可以学到许多英语知识。

本套丛书有以下特点：

1.书中每一页都含有大幅精美的彩色图片以及少量英汉对照的文字，旨在让儿童通过图片和文字认识世界。

2.每幅图片均由摄影师专门实地拍摄，自然真实，贴近儿童的生活，便于儿童接受，可以帮助孩子认识自己、朋友、周围的事物和生活环境等。

Each book has 24 pages, each page has 1-2 sentences of ~ 10 words and the content is very interesting and informative. My son is ~5 yrs old and he can read by himself. He loves the books.

(e.g for moth and butterfly, after reading the book, my son can answer me how to distinguish a butterfly and a moth)

台灣版亲亲自然学英语 is available at 教協田園圖書坊.

Or you can contact 小樹苗教育出版社.

For the version published by 小樹苗, the English and Chinese is separated into 2 books (I've bought few books of this version before). Each book costs $25 (list price), but the content is exactly the same as the Mainland China version. (The quality of the china version is acceptable. Only the paper is a bit thin.)

The whole set is only $24 (for 5 books which includes both the Chin + Eng inside.)

Tks.  I have bought Set A from 大陸書店。Sets B - E not available in both branches.  The quality is acceptable, in fact better than what I expected.
The shopkeeper at CWB branch was very kind, asked me to leave my contact tel no and will call once they have stock.
I also bought a few piano books, not the John Thomson series, but the Bethovan / Czerny etc for children.

My son is 2 years and 4 months only.
I learnt "First step to read" at 東西.  Is that mean I can ask 大陸 to subscribe me any books I find in the website?  Which China website you always visit to find the details?  Did you find any publishers in China regarding Easy-to-read (include CD+VCD)?
