There is also another practising ground in Dragon centre.   Just sliding and puck hitting with instructor's rule is very safe. No fighting with the sticks then it will be O.K. Overall, it's always full of fun for beginners. Instructors knows well how to make the kids enjoy the training.

I also want my son try ice hockey. I called the dragon centre, the course in Sept is cancelled due to insufficient students. I called the Rink, too. Only 1:1 private coaching a/v, I think this sport is not very popular in HK.

It is not that popular in Hong Kong amongst local Hong Kongers, but a lot of western kids are very keen on this sports and they do have teams practicing. I am not sure about other locations but I do know a few western kids in my children school that play at Megabox.

There are on-going classes held in the Dragon Centre, every Sat and Sun. I thought it must be all full and cannot accomodate anymore new students. Summer programme are the most crowded period every year. You may try again later in Oct.

how old is your son?  you can try to contact HK Typhoons Ice Hockey Association for more information.  Usually they start from Sept. to April evey year including practice and games every week (it depends on the age group).
