Hi, everyone,
My small boy will have an interview at 9:15 am on 10th Nov. I am very nervous as my son was born at 24th Dec 2005. He is a very small boy and right now still
can't speak anything. Are there any
mami who have the interview on the same day and time as mine? Can we share any ideas?
Btw, just wanna know which kindergartens have you all chosen? For me , i have no idea but just apply for st. Catherine
only!! Can you all suggest some to me?

其實你不用太擔心, 因我的仔仔都是12月出生, 當年interview時都未夠2歲, 但最後都收了佢, 不過保障些, 你可申請多一至兩間幼稚園, 而且亦有得選擇。

以我所知 St. Cat都有收細仔架, 我BB都係細仔, 佢10月26日, 又係11月10日interview. 不過我都報多幾間等佢多d interview既practises同多d choices. 你可以考慮下報 keenmind, baptist 都不錯的. 加油

Ha, you know the interview time already?  I even haven't received the application form yet.  I sent St. Catherine the letter for application form on 20 Sep and haven't got any reply from them yet.

不要擔心,我女兒是12月出生,當年都收了,現在已經k3啦!!學校會在k1時分大小仔班,你放心吧!

As they only allow one parent to accompany the child, I don't know if I or my husband shoud go with my son. We chose English interview, my husband speak better English than I do, but my son 痴我多D.

Interview 時, 老師會問小朋友一般的問題, 如: 叫什麼名字, 幾多歲, 同那一個來學校等, 亦會比些圖畫小朋友看, 而再問問題, 通常都會問家長為何選擇st. catherine等, 若你選擇英文interview, 通常會由外籍老師in, 所以家長必須能操流利英語。

不妨打去學校查詢申請紀錄,因為我又係20/9寄出,8/10打去問是否已寄出,即晚便收到表格,而且收到後要20/10前寄回!

B女被安排於9/11下午面試,只能有一位家長陪同,到時與大家分享.

Hello, everyone, my son up to now can't speak anything , but just single words like "ball", "baba " "mama" etc only. He even can't speak out his name. I am quite sure that he won't answer anything in the interv iew. Do you think he can pass the interview??
Btw, another problem is the interview date for st cat n KV are the same , and the time is jst 15 mins different. Which one should I go for??
Hope you all can give me some advice!

Luckily my interview date on KV is on 10th Oct & St Catherine is on 9th Oct
However, I am not sure the interview time of Victoria yet so may crash with KV

Clarawsf, u  have the same situation with my friend's son with same interview time slot on the same day & time

hello, how are you, my son is same day for interview, my freind told me must been teach the little boy or girls to speak his/her name is full name, so that I told my helper every day teach him to speak the full name lo. very worry a,,,,

我可以分享小小經驗.

當年我係由老公同阿仔見,因為我自己係比較緊張(通常阿媽都係咁),而爸爸會平常心,所以我叫爸爸去.

我記得我哋係選英文面試,當時有問阿仔叫咩名,屋企有咩人(我仔兩題都無答),跟住俾幅圖,問佢邊把係傘,圖中人物在玩咩等等,阿仔全部答中.跟手再例行問家長點解選佢哋學校,(只要重點咁答,唔洗長篇大讑),跟手老公即刻講笑咁"補飛"話阿仔比較慢熱,熟咗之後會好多嘢講!對方點頭表示明白.

我諗關鍵係唔好緊張,面試前要令小朋友保持心情愉快,我記得叫咗老公帶咗兩粒糖去,臨面試前五分鐘俾一粒佢,等佢開開心心入去,完咗之後無論佢表現係點都奬佢一粒,以示鼓勵!

其實最緊要大人放鬆啲,事前準備咗就算,去到千萬唔好再"哦"小朋友,攪到佢哋"炆"晒就適得其反啦!

我囡囡係上年interview架,上年我同大家一樣都好緊張,仲緊張過自己去見工...其實睇番上年經驗同網友嘅評論...大家抱平常心去interview係最明智架,因為識答晒未必會收,唔識答嘅又未必唔會收;大女/仔又未必有advantage,有background又唔係實收...總之你都唔知佢地有咩準則去收生...所以唔好比小朋友同自己咁多壓力,順其自然啦:loveliness:

另,我個女唔識答晒問題+係細女...但係St Cat都收左佢呀,所以細女/仔媽咪唔好灰心呀!

你好呀!! 暫時未收到何時去面試日期, 都有小小緊張

想問如果老師"問點解會簡呢間學校?" 請問應該點答先好呢? 可以教我嗎? 十分感激
