Dear Mam - whilst I agree GHS is a nice school, I am concerned with their quality on reading your writing - I understand it's just a forum typing, yet there are so much typo and grammatical errors...

It is also a fact that their English standard is generally yet to match DGS.  This is not surprising as I think exposure and confidence are their strength.

ps - I have personally met & chat with existing GHS secondary students.

sorry for not writing my comments in prefect English, yet, i am just writing it in a rush, even have no time to recheck it before i posted it, as i don't think it is an official document,  don't regard this as very standard type of writing, i am just writing it in the way that i am leaving message in my facebook and is just trying  to give everyone more details only......

論壇討論，文法或串字上有錯好平常，例如，看到以下句子的問題嗎？

"I have personally met & chat with existing GHS secondary students."

(不要介意我五十步笑百步，我的錯漏更多呢。)

德望得300多人報?我唔信，有無咁少，今天第二次面試，我女應該第一輪，時間早到8:40，入到去都見到很多人，跟住都唔知有多少組時間繼續...我覺得很多人囉!!!

大家認為德望有3百多人報，因為在最後一日交表的家長們，都說自己的號數是3xx。

若你女兒有報，你女兒的applicaton number 最多是3xx，是嗎？

我唔係最後一天交，個號碼是2xx，如果真是300多人報，都算少喎!不過這學校都唔易收人的。

其實大家不應該只看號碼，有的學校故意將號碼作到好大，看上去有似有1000或2000人報名，其實心照啦

Same here I like GH more than HY. Fm other point of view, HY uses 30% subsidize those who can't afford for the DSS school fee. That means if you paid for $3K, $1K is to subsidize the others. Seems it's too much for middle class parents as your paid school fee can't be 100% on yr kids.

記得多年前德望轉值資時, 有很多回響, 其中轉值資一大理由是希望確保能收回大部分德小學生,咁多年來, 佢係做得到, 無出爾反爾, 令到家長好放心入讀德小, 德小校長在招生簡報會時也有提及一點 內容大致是為何花6年時間去配養有特異功能或8級鋼琴的孩子而不將這6年時光專心學業打好基礎,課外活動是娛樂, 找尋開心, 調劑,生活的,我聽後覺得有些感動…..
