Hi Dear,

My son is studying in Loacl English School P. 2. I feel so bore to teach his Maths. He seems not understand but his english should be good enough to do the problem solving.

May I know the ways of teaching Maths Skill in International School?

Dear DEAR,

My daughter studies in P3 in Int''l School.  The teaching method for Maths is drawing model for problem solving.  It's quite hard, I usually cannot help but my husband.  Once she understands the method, it's earsier to do the others.

My daughter's Math is at the top of her class.  I think the reason is she like Math.  She will buy P4 Math exercise book by herself and do it by herself.  Once she doesn't understand, she will ask us.

Therefore, I believe Success is the successful way to teach.  You may try to teach you son a little bit advance than the school. This is my method to my daughter when she was in lower form.  I amafraid girl's math is usually weaker than boy's that I let her learn Mental Math and teach her a little earlier than school.
