各位好，其實我已經報咗兩間心儀嘅IS小學，但想搵一啲 back up plan。啱啱睇完上面呢篇article，想問問大家意見，報3-4間夠唔夠呢？據大家經驗，應該報幾多間比較穩陣呢？

所以想請問大家，喺九龍同新界區，有邊啲機會比較大嘅小學呢？

（唔好意思，問題比較多又長篇大論。另外我表達能力同技巧唔係太好，亦無意將邊間學校選為back up plan就代表佢唔夠好，只係因為覺得心水嗰兩間比較適合我小朋友性格啫。如有冒犯，先講聲對唔住！以上提及嘅都係好學校，如果唔係都唔會花時間研究啦！唔該晒各位！）

CAIS , 因為冇kindergarten.

但幾時面試？幾時出offer 呢？出offer要幾錢留位呢？你心儀果兩間好似2月中出first round offer.

唔難，今年仲要咁多新校，只要唔好只報最多人報個幾間。

我上cais個website睇咗啦！
For prep grade, assessment will be held between Nov to Dec 2017, and parents will be notified of result within 30days, and will need to pay Entry Deposit ($10k), Reservation fee (1 month tuition: ~$9.5k), and ICN ($450k, but transferable with $1k admin fee)

照咁睇，一定早過另外兩間啦！不過唔清楚interview date同報名時間有冇關.......

咁個cost 約兩萬幾，assume debenture 係transferable. 咁你報嗎？

Actually, the transfer fee is 1% of the note; which is $4500, not $1k.

Also, there's a bit of a catch...if you transfer the note within 12 months of purchasing the note, the fee is 15%. I think they are trying to prevent parents from holding the spot and dropping it very late, like in June - August before school starts in September.

如果你的後備學校最早給你offer，付留位費當買一個保障。我認為報3-4間差不多了，當然視乎你被所選學校成功取錄的機會有多少。

個人經驗，當年報了三間小學，一間是幼稚園老師推介的，一間是最多幼稚園畢業生考上的，一間是用家朋友推介的。當時的策略是最想入的最早報名，最早面試，獲取錄後，就取消其餘兩間的面試。但現在可能已行不通，因為各校的報名日期及程序較多規定。

CAIS 去年好好人，二月初出offer,但可以等到二月底先俾450K debenture. 即係ESF同大部分學校出咗offer 後。今年，未知。

而家,year 1先搵位有D遲，越來越多學校將mass intake 提前到k1 k2, year 1 剩好少位，比較多位主要有CAIS ,RC ，部份ESF港島區小學，一D冇中學嘅學校，同埋一D新校。

所以，最好提前K1 開始試。

即係只需要俾Entry deposit and reservation fee就得?

想請教一下你是哪年報Year 1的？
恕我直言，現在的香港家長比較瘋狂，在local那邊報6,7間學校是常態，我很害怕多人報的IS也是一樣，大家都一窩蜂地報名。可是新的IS地點並不適合我，就算取錄了也得掙扎是否就讀。可以給我一些建議嗎？謝謝

去年，新校舍仲未有排照，所以連留位費都未冼俾，至於450K，要吡啶張post dated cheque, 二月中ESF出offer,佢又俾你攞返張支票。今年當然唔知點啦。
