how many places for k1 do they have? and how many will be competing? and is it a guarantee for primary? how many places in p1? thanks.

Just received call from ICS and confirmed interview on coming Friday. Surprised to received the call, hope that my boy can do well and get a seat!

During the visit, if i remember correctly, they said there are 60 places for R1, and 90% promoted to grade 1 last year.

Some received e-mail few days ago, i received it today, so i think the school is still processing the arrangement of interview step by step. CKCKmom, hope u get good news very soon!

Thanks. Do you know how many competing for 60, and how many P1 places are there? Why do you choose ICS? I don't know much about those newer IS like ICS, CAIS and RCHK. How would you compare them?

I really don't know how many applicants they received but I guess competition is keen!! I also have not much clue on those new IS, but my friend's kid is in ICS and have really good comment, so I give my son a try.
Given it only has 60 places, I am not that confident....
In terms of interview format, parents allow to stay with them, right?

The interview reminder mentioned “parents will stay in a separate area where they will be interviewed by the Kg Principal or a member from our admission team” and group interview of students will be conducted.

How many 3 year-olds can leave their parents in an unfamiliar place? My child will definitely have a hard moment.

jolalee For CDNIS they do that (and worse) to the 2 year-olds but quite a few kids made it, so it is possible. Yes, PN class helps. 發表於 13-2-27 07:07

The Application Fee is very very expensive.
