As the curriculum is so all-rounded and kids there have good English standard, how come none of them go to top primary schools. I have a big question.....

Go to top tier schools need to put much more focus on academic and do some target-oriented ECA. I read an interview article with RHS principal (東方新地）RHS changed the direction few years ago. They now minimize to participate various competitions outside school and put more focus on the kids' personally / spiritual development. That why they introduced Montessori at that time. This may also answer why their student may not in top tier P. Turn the other way round, would the parents of RHS are not the type focusing those schools? Balancing & happy life is the most important to me, of course to my daughter as well

What is the syllabus/standard of u2 English?any spelling?
Do they teach phonics? Need to take extra phonics class outside?

Personally opinion, phonics in RHS is good and have assisting device (like Ipod apps.) to keep learning when you at home.

Dear YFChoy,

Tomorrow is the first day of my son to join K1. It is very excited. However, I am worry about how he can fit in PM. class. He used to join AM class since last year.

Your son will definately enjoy his school life in RHS, don't worry about PM class, he can adjust time schedule shortly.

Welcome to the PM class!

As Oscar66 said, no need to worry. My girl had been in day care for 2 years and she is able to get use to study the PM class. They will adjust the nap time themselves (I think this is one of the critical point you worry). Always tell your son he can do it, then he thinks he can. Sometimes they will skip their napping time, don't push him to take a nap too hard, sometimes they really don't want to sleep. But after one day activity and not enough sleeping time, next day they will sleep. My girl always not sleeps in the morning then take a nap while taking school bus back home (therefore, she always lost her stuff without knowing, haha!).
