Re: Oxford Reading Tree 低至$10一本
Hello Gloria,
I didn't read the fact finder before and I'll try to borrow from the library.
The followings are information copied from ORT.
FACT FIND
The Fact Finders series is the new non-fiction component of Oxford's popular infant reading scheme, Oxford Reading Tree. The Fact Finders will introduce non-fiction books to infant children, and focus on developing the information retrieval and handling skills they need to use them effectively. The series encompasses a whole range of genres, illustration styles, and subject focuses.
The first eighteen titles are grouped into three topic units: `Myself', `Families', and `Houses and homes'.
FACT FIND UNIT A MYSELF PACK
FACT FIND B FAMILIES PACK
FACT FIND C HOUSES/HOMES
These three Fact find pack are categorized under ORT Stage 4:

Unit A, `Myself', supports National Curriculum Science, Technology, and History, as well as developing reading skills and demonstrating different styles of non-fiction writing. The books also reinforce safety, health, and care messages for the youngest infants.
Unit B, `Families', explores the diversity of types of families. It supports National Curriculum History and Geography, and learning about religions, as well as well as developing reading skills and demonstrating different styles of non-fiction writing.
Unit C, `Houses and Homes', supports National Curriculum Geography, History, Technology, and Mathematics, as well as well as developing reading skills and demonstrating different styles of non-fiction writing.
