如果計上年會考成績, 黃笏南較好, 五科合格率98.3%, 黃棣珊93.X%. 入本地大學率就黃棣珊較好, 有88%, 黃笏南81%.

Why you are so smart and know the whole HK Secondary schools' banding and available places?  

If the school doesn't disclose the ranking, then how can we position ourselves?

學校應該要講比你聽你既banding,如果唔講好難選校.

It only provide basic info. and w/o any details banding. Is " 中學一覽表" not under govt. edu web? Pls adivse, tks.

如果是培正小學top 10% 的男生，應該直升培中還是應該放棄培中抽英中？
喇沙會拿出多少位比大抽獎？好似只得20幾個，博唔博得過？
如果保守點，應該填邊個學校落第一志愿？
點知邊個學校比幾多位大抽獎？

如果保守o的, 應該填培中做第一志願, 下面係培正上年會考既成績, 比好多英中好得多. 喇沙得20個位, 真係要講運氣. 上年培中比培小既抽獎位有133個, 4月份派既中學一覽表會見到每間中學既派位學額. 你可以參考呢個網址睇番上年個表.

小兒在九龍塘小學部(KTS)讀，二次呈分試考21-25/106人，是Band 1 。家住沙田，抽獎揀沙田還是九龍城網呢？九龍城網D学校係咪勁過沙田？自行選了曾肇添(rank order 佔60%), 機會大嗎？ Thank you for your advice

Did your son did well in the interview yesterday? We went for 3:30pm interview and my son told me it was quite okay. The teachers were nice.

Do you know when the final decision will be reached? Any time next week? Only 30 students, seems not less competition than SPCC?

Is this a very good school? Khmama, would you kindly share your view on Ying Wa College (for boys) too? thanks!

He felt OK in the interview yesterday. I know the chance of getting in is little. Our interview was at 3:45pm. We should have chance to talk in face if we knew earlier. Good Luck!

Don't worry. I am sure he is a very smart boy. Did you mention he also is on waiting for SPCC? If he makes it to SPCC waiting list, his chance of getting into YW should be big. Hope he will get in. Why you choose YW, for its good moral education? I heard kids there are in general very well behave. Is it true?

其實英中學位競爭比例, 並不是報紙所說, 以升中人數除以英中學額的. 以九龍城區為例. 升中人數是5696人, 英中學額是1686個(包括本區及他區).  但係, 遊戲規則是先派完band 1, 先至到band 2 同 band 3, band 2和band  ...

我是對升中派位不大認識的媽媽, 想請教吓 :
30%是BAND 1, 是否根據歷年經驗而推算?? 誤差有?%, 有否+/-10%???

30%既假設, 純粹根據派位有3個組別而定既, 各區都會有差異. 如果用呢個數, 同區內30%BAND1生數目作比較, 可以見到下面既差異. 如果差異較大, 有機會係自行成功既BAND1人數或者轉往他區抽獎既BAND1人數比實際多.
