And for your information (it may possibly happen also in your case) the code sent to me for activating the security device is no longer valid by the time i receive the code in a letter (because the code is only valid for a number of days (can't remember if it is 14 days) and by the time i receive the letter containing the code, that period is well passed. I have to call up HSBC UK and ask them to reset the code, and then send the reset code to me by email. However you may wish to ask them by online chat to reset the activation code for you.
