Hai, :cry: :-|  I still waiting for the school bus driver to answer me whether they have enought time to carry my daughter to school or not..

Since she still need to wait until 14 Jan (she will be 3 years old), for the froggie class..

So you still can't see me la..Will keep you and the other mama's update since I really want to meet you guys..

By the way, it seems there is another mama's kid (csokchoi) will join bunny class these two days..

csokchoi, how is your boy, is he OK ??

依家馬鐵通了，交通不是方便了一些嗎？你可以坐99或299去wu ka sha kcr station再轉馬鐵去學校就得了。

Boxhill的pg 係要大人一齊上堂的,for 1-2yrs.

冇參觀要打電話去預約,通常都係下午參觀的.由個校長親自帶.

Sorry I am moving to Shatin the end of this month and I have no ideas where to put for twin boys in.  May I know where are Boxhill and Phoenix?  What are the full names of these two schools?  Any good kindergartens are highly recommended?  Thanks.

To bb517, do you mean that the playgroups offered by Boxhill are for 1-2 years old?  As I know, it only offers for 1.5 years onwards.  Thanks for sharing!!

boxhill的playgroup最少要1.5歲的。有閒日及星期六選的。閒日那些就係類似nursery，不過就可以有大人陪同參加的，nursery就返3小時，閒日的playgroup就係1小時。而saturday就係1小時。但價錢就有很大的分別了。

他們am的nursery class已經full了，要讀的話就要讀pm class。另外，他們一班maximum20個小朋友，會有3個大人看住。一至兩個係qualfiied teacher，另下一個你educational assistant。

To 小宇宙, my daughter is now 10 months old and I'm looking for nursery kindergarden for her.  Anyway, as read from your previous threads, your daughter is now studying welborn nusery.  Do you think welborn is good?  Why don't you let your daughter continue her K1-3 in welborn ah?  Thanks for sharing!!

To tweetybird, is there any interview held after applying the nursery class in Boxhill?  Besides, as read from previous threads, you once let your daughter join Boxhill's playgroup, right?  Do u think it's good?  Besides, 要早幾耐報名(playgroup)ga?  係咪好搶手ga?  仲有,is it near the Hang On station of MOS railway?  In fact, I live in The Tolo Place and I'm wondering how long it takes if I take the MOS railway to Hang On station and then walk to Boxhill, will it only take for ~20 minutes in total?  Sorry for so many questions and thanks for your sharing!!

其實學校都唔係要見個小朋友，主要係同個家長見見面傾傾計罷了。看看家長對小朋友有什麼期望及要求等。

其實類似的playgroup出面都有很多。我俾我個女讀的原因係因為我已經當時唔sure會唔會俾個女上nursery，都想個女去試下，睇下她開唔開心及喜唔喜歡那兒的環境及氣氛。但join了playgroup的小朋友好似有prority入讀k1的，不過就唔係好sure了。學校已經開始問緊些nursery學生會唔會報k1了，因為有好多的學生都已經send緊application letter去boxhill報讀，故我估都應該幾搶手。

馬鐵有站係hang on落，連埋行路去太約10分鐘路程左右，我指由馬鐵行過去學校。

1)它的老師只有小數係外國人來的。大部份都係亞洲人，但她們說那些老師都係係海外讀完書回來的，但有無相關的證書就唔太清楚了。

2)同學大部份都係中國人，只有少數你外國人。

3)它的website尚未用得www.boxhill.com.hk。

The school said they would send the proof pictures to parents  for selection after 2-3 days. Then the parent can place the order.

Hello!!我囡囡會4月入讀n1 pm,因佢地下午班4月先開班,我想問我地in home冇mug特別用英文同囡囡講,佢而家中文溝通好好,完全冇問題.
所以我有擔心如讀Boxhill,我驚佢會溝通唔到,打擊佢的自信心.你地覺得會唔會咁?我老公就話唔會喎.你地點睇?

唔使太擔心的，因為bb本身的適應能力強到不得了，讀下讀下就無問題的。試想想bb一出世都唔知我們講什麼啦。唔緊要的，慢慢來吧。老師們都很幫手的。

你要在上學之前好好的跟女兒溝通一下，讓她知道在學校是將會用全英語上堂及溝通的，使她有心理準備總好過什麼準備都無就去上學。另外，我自己都幾贊成俾個小朋友去join下它們的playgroup先，當然要$$許可先好做。起碼個小朋友會對個環境熟識些，到真係上堂時個心都會無那麼驚，因為都見慣見熟。

溝通就唔需要擔心，反為係小朋友要自己一個人係學校無家長陪伴那個過度期就需要下多一點功夫去跟小朋友開導一下。因為我見過好多小朋友係第一個星期喊到不得了，有些甚至喊足幾個月的，所以你要係事前真的下點功夫了。

我依家個女的老師教得幾好，唔知上k1時係唔係她教?!

do you know the student to teacher ratio still around 20 to 3 for k1 ??

the school seems becomes popular as I heard lots of mama wants to apply...

I just visited Boxhill last Sunday (27/2) though it was only an enrollment date.  Anyway, the first impression is quite good but 有少少commercial feel...可能係d miss穿了套裝同埋講英文呱.

Only parents need to interview, but it is not a formal one and it is just share about the school's believe and let the parents know what type of schools it is...
