Indeed it will be much more difficult for my son to have the same achievement as I if he is going to stay in Hong Kong, as I anticipate. The current new recruits of my job are already facing much pressure, and I truly think I am much luckier than them.
Of course my son can choose where he wants to go. I can't because I have to earn money to bring him up...

非常同意，我也全靠YouTube 學懂玩某個樂器。

Because nowadays everyone is measured by "data".  All students, teachers performance are quantified as indicators to measure their success.  Less teachers are concern about non-academic developments when they are forced to follow speedy syllabus. Secondary schools are measured by DSE and top university elite degree admission results, followed by primary schools measured by admission ratio into band 1 secondary schools, then resulted into preschoolers competing into elite primary for early plan even before selection of kindergartens and playgroups.  All these top-down games never change over past decades even though there  are more university places nowadays.  Parents should have long term visions to prepare our skills on their comparative skills for global and mainlanders competition.

幼稚園都考幾次?幼稚園得2~3年,初小都得3年,即年年都考?好有毅力啊！

我孩子當年是Year 1 中途插班的，有個職員跟我説中途插班不容易，許多都要考超過一次，例如歌神大女就考了 ...

個職員咁様提其他小朋友的事又好像不大好，不過我都知有班人是差不多年年去考一次好似朝聖咁的。

I see, 其實我稔D外國人都未必知道歌神係乜水，其他藝人都是，我稔佢地只識Jackie Chan。
八開又八，聽聞另一藝人的女兒，本身已有德籍很高priority，也考了很多次考不上，最後放棄了。

咁我大嗰個小朋友咪好好彩,一次已收,可能唔係名校同非ib課程。
細嗰個就學校call去面試而收左。(因小學每年有老師到幼稚揀學生)
