ESF schools offer priorities to non-Chinese speaking kids, so it becomes very difficult for local kids to get in.
It is in fact very unfair as ESF schools get subsidies from govt (our tax money), so they charge much less than ESF private schools. Then they refuse to accept local kids, and if we want to study in ESF, we have to pay a lot more school fees to study in their private schools. Yet, they claim that they are offering "choice". Is there really a choice for us???? |
