Hi,
i would like to join a club too. do you know any voting member of jockey club? it is not easy nowaday to join JC unless you are rich enough to buy those coporate membership which I could not afford... So , I am just thinking about CCC, HKCC... in which the individaul membership is more reasonable than others, eg, HKRC..~4.8million for individual membership..

as far as i know, the school fee for Braemer hill is around 9800 per month

You may consider the Football Club in Happy Valley, Sports Road, next to the JC. They have lots of facilities and classes, especially sports like tennis, squash, swimming, golf etc. for the kids and the family. We love to go there to swim during weekend. The monthly fee is HKD1,200 but I don't know the entrance fee and waiting time to be a member.

Football Club is really a family-oriented club and our kids love going there. I'm afraid the "entrance fee" for individual members may cost a fortune as most people enjoy their membership through the corporate ones.

Agree with soso1 and 502,

Football club is family oriented. I always go to the playroom and swimming pool. But to my knowledge, they stopped giving out application form about 2 yrs ago. They will only take member's children after they turn 18.

wootaitai, if you prefer HK side with reasonable enterance fee ... try to buy the individual debenture for HKCC, HKYC or CCC. my friend joined hkcc early this year at $180. And hkyc is now offering at $240-250. CCC is now offering at $150 with new complex.

ladies recreation is quite full ... and country clubs cost a fortune plus a long waiting list.

我同老公都係馬會o既full member，另外我地都有join hilltop courty club，假如你想你個小朋友識多d朋友仔，同參加club所攪o既興趣班，你可以考慮join馬會。

馬會會所個兒童活動室，真係好岩3-10歲o既小朋友玩。而且馬會會所每季都會舉辦好多for兒童o既活動。好似今個夏天，就有小廚師camp同水運會咁。

仲有，雙魚村鄉村會所真係好正。大人細路都岩玩!!!

: 我同佬有時行唔開又想放假就會入去囉~!

You mean HK$180K for HKCC, right ? Wow, it's still very expensive ! Is it a debenture that you can retrieve when you withdraw or a once-and-for-all permenant membership fee ?

Do you know any value-for-money club in Kowloon side ?

if you are looking for a club for your family, it's very rare to resell. you'll go there more as the kids grow up.

依家加入馬會成為會員，程序就正如"wootaitai"所講，需要2位會會員推薦及保證。但唔係個個馬會會員都擁有推薦新會員資格囉。

由推薦到批核，需時約2年。入左會後，配偶及子女可申請附屬會藉。

我佬入左會已經有十年，所以當時入會情況我都唔係太清楚，不過應該同依家差唔多。
