Regarding the AM (internation) and PM (local) arrangment, although the child has to change classroom after nap, I think they're very adaptable and they could easily mingle with others.

Any other parant arranged AM (international) and PM (local) for your BB too? Let's share. Have you decided the plan for Primary? Local or international stream? As told by the teacher from RHS playgroup, they said the Chin. capability (esp. in writing) of the international stream student may not be as strong as local class K3 gratudated. Still I think langauge in terms of verbal is more important in kindergarten edu. If he knows how to express himself, it's no rush to push him in writing. Agree?

My daughter has been accepted by AM nursary for 2008/09. Can any mummies share their BB experience in RHS? I still wonder if I should put my BB in RHS or KCS?

我係第一輪int pre-nursary, 果陣時係嘅:

四組父母及小朋友被帶入一間課室, 各自玩玩具. 一中一英文老師輪流見小朋友及家長

中文老師先見我哋, 玩積木叠高４層/ 上縲絲/ 認顏色/ 玩Lego. 跟住啤本相簿我阿仔睇, 逐張問張相入邊Ｄ嘢係嘜. 問左十張禁上下, 又問阿仔有無着襪., 後面壁報版Ｄ公仔 …. 問我的問題只有一個 : 你個仔幾大亞:-x

英文老師問Ｄ嘢都差唔多, 不過有七成時間係個中文老師問囉.

形式上,我覺得同其他學校差唔多.

你如果同佢揀間注重學術嘅學校, 考嘅野大同小異.

驚無得你驚. 好學校有唔少, 呢間唔得就讀第二間囉

收咗我個仔(Feb06) 其實都係靠運氣. 佢都無答哂Ｄ問題. 隔離果個發脾氣

, 另外Ｄ又係超細Ｂ

. 所以阿仔咪跑出囉

Ｄ相咪係Ｄ玩具車, 船, 奶樽之類.

真係唔該晒你的資料, 我唔打算比我個囝讀太遠的學校, 又想佢k1係返全日班, 所以好學校又有全日的選擇不多了羅.

咁你個囝幾多月出世的呀? 有無同佢返過d 咩 playgroup咁呢??

我個仔係大仔 (Feb06出世), interview 會着數Ｄ. 所以我估你個仔都一樣.

我只係帶過仔仔上過一次保護兒童協會嘅playgroup, last for 2 個月倒喇. 我覺得親子(親身)教育係最自然最有效. 我無特登為interview train 阿仔D嘜.

我估你嘅準備會多過我 :D

My son is going to take the AM (international) and PM (local) K1 class in Sept/08 as well. Let’s see how it goes.
BTW, I agree with your view with regards to “language in terms of verbal is more important in kindergarten”.
