Dear Parent,
IB Syllabus aims at developing children with global perspective. It is important for children to understand the culture of different nations and think wide. Nowadays, students of many international schools are mainly Chinese or Asians. Do you have any idea to help developing the global perspective of children or better understand of the cultures of other nationalities.

I think travelling offers a very good chance for us to experience the difference between cultures.
In addition, learning different languages may also be a good way to understand different cultures of other nations.

How is IB recognized worldwide by the universities?  Does anyone have any sources of info to share about this?  I know many IS are doing this, and even DSSs, it's just too new for my generation to understand.  Many thanks!

It provides almost all the info that you would need to know about the program.
Most universities in HK recognized IB.
ESF is going to start PYP (IB preparatory course for primary students) soon. I think the school is very well prepared for the new syllabus and has committed a lot of resources on it.
