中學選科混亂家長狂轟

【 本 報 訊 】 「 三 三 四 」 新 高 中 學 制 ○ 九 年 便 會 展 開 ， 但 成 為 首 批 新 學 制 「 白 老 鼠 」 的 中 一 學 生 及 家 長 ， 對 選 修 科 目 、 通 識  育 、 升 學 準 則 等 仍 感 到 十 分 迷 惘 。 不 少 中 一 學 生 的 家 長 昨 參 加  育 統 籌 局 舉 辦 的 新 高 中 選 修 科 目 座 談 會 時 ， 批 評 當 局 一 直 未 有 清 楚 解 釋 新 學 制 推 行 細 節 ， 只 透 過 學 校 當 「 傳 聲 筒 」 ， 令 他 們 不 知 如 何 是 好 。

對 通 識 科 憂 慮
統 局 舉 辦 的 港 島 區 新 高 中 選 修 科 目 座 談 會 ， 昨 吸 引 近 千 名 中 一 學 生 家 長 出 席 ， 座 談 會 原 定 一 星 期 前 舉 行 ， 但 因 參 加 人 數 遠 超 場 地 所 限 ， 故 需 改 於 昨 日 舉 行 。 大 部 分 家 長 對 新 設 的 其 中 一 個 高 中 必 修 科 通 識  育 ， 充 滿 憂 慮 ， 既 不 知 學 生 應 如 何 準 備 ， 更 不 明 白 考 試 及 評 核 局 將 如 何 評 分 。 有 家 長 引 述 兒 子 聲 稱 ， 「 我 個 仔 成 日 話 中 文 無 得 讀 ， 咁 點 算 好 ？ 將 來 係 咪 就 咁 去 考 試 ？ 」

統 局 課 程 發 展 主 任 （ 通 識  育 ） 廖 國 雄 透 露 ， 已 有 八 百 名 老 師 接 受 通 識  育 培 訓 ， 預 計 至 ○ 八 年 底 有 二 千 五 百 名  師 完 成 培 訓 。 他 又 指 通 識  育 的 時 事 題 主 要 來 自 應 屆 考 試 前 兩 年 發 生 的 本 港 或 世 界 大 事 ， 要 求 學 生 思 考 和 分 析 。

Agree, poor parents, look at the paragraph:"既 不 知 學 生 應 如 何 準 備 ， 更 不 明 白 考 試 及 評 核 局 將 如 何 評 分 。" I just cannot understand why parents need to worry about how to prepare, and what is the marking scheme. I my time, my parents never need to worry these. parents are poor because they worry too much.

No comment to students and teachers.

「 我 個 仔 成 日 話 中 文 無 得 讀 ， 咁 點 算 好 ？ 將 來 係 咪 就 咁 去 考 試 ？ 」

Classic !

I think this mother want to take part the HKCEE by herself.

In my old day, I and my classmates used 90% of time to read the so call model answer, is it a big benefit to us? No!, it is a big benefit to the teachers instead.

No model answer, 無 得 讀, that means you need to read more and understand, that's all.
