Shatin Junior School OR DBSPD ?

Hi,

What if both Shatin Junior School and DBS (Primary Division) offer your child a place? What would be your choice?

有個Shatin Junior家長同我講 (佢有兩個女讀緊Shatin Junior) : "如果入到 maryknoll / 女拔, 當然唔入 IS."  
但是, 我亦眼見好多名校生轉去讀 IS.
所以, 你必須清楚自已的孩子需要什麼.  那種教學方法適合你孩子性格才是最重要.

覺得DBS教學模式開始就模仿IS, 就算Maths一味教得難，現在從newspaper上看到佢地要學習IS，用特別的圖形
計數機學習計圖形，令計算有多變化及有趣。
另外science方面，佢地亦喜歡用IS的模式及IS用的機構教佢學生！
English方面一定IS佔優，DBS要千就一些英語程度低的學
生，學生日後的Vocab應該唔會差，但speaking方面一定
唔會好到與IS學生看齊。
中文方面現在學普通話好嗎？定仲學廣東話好？聽聞SJS/ESF的普通話教多了。

最後的學生之間的競爭，大多數富有的學生，當然可以出去用最好的師傅教兒子，中英、音樂、体育什麼到要讀習。英文要Cambridge flyer, London test, TLST etc，多餘！

Project方面，IS的學生自已完成，DBS的學生？？

上述說話為小人個人意見。小孩要在愉快中學習，才能事半工倍！

I think what you said is right.  What's your view about DGS as compared to ESF then?  As DGS is usually ranked to be the top local school and it is ranked higher than DBS.  Thanks.

係呀!maryknoll有好多轉左去IS, 係朋友個女講既,因e+個校長一味勁谷,佢d學生係抽番來,無得選擇,住我對面妹妹仔入左去,佢好似隻大水牛甘,個面肥到三圈,如果當年係校長有分年代,佢一定無得讀.
