Hi all,

I am very much interest to know what after school activities offer from SJS.
Can I have the current timetable of after school activities for reference?
How much do they charge per activity?
Is there any school bus services after?

Scroll down & you will find more info.  There is no charge if activities run by school. There are also some activities run by outsiders.  Charges are varied.  Don't worry, you will get lots of leaflets, flyers at the beginning of the first two weeks of school.

Extra Curricular Activities

Introduction

At Sha Tin Junior School we are committed to providing a variety of extra-curricular opportunities for our pupils. These activities enhance the learning and play experiences of our children and many parents find it convenient to take advantage of clubs taking place within school. The activities provided fall under three main headings:

After-school and lunchtime clubs run by our teaching staff and all teachers provide at least one extra-curricular activity during each school year. These are free of charge and in order to provide them we rely on the goodwill of our teachers. All clubs are able to take a limited number and when they are full children may be placed on a waiting list.
Additional classes organised by ESF Educational Services, they will either be English classes or Sports activities. ESF Educational Services provide a booklet each term indicating what classes will be on offer the following term and all bookings and enquiries are made directly with them. Contact details are included on the following page.
Additional classes provided by outside agencies who let our premises to deliver their classes. These are external providers, they circulate details of their classes separately on a termly basis and are usually profit making. All bookings and enquiries should be made directly with the provider and Sha Tin Junior School do not promote these classes nor have responsibility for them. We charge the provider for the use of our facilities and this enables us to generate addition income into our school budget.

Support your child in learning English outside the classroom by signing on with ESF Educational Services LTD. Classes of no more than twelve students, allow teachers to offer personal support and address the specific needs of each child individually. Exclusive classes for small groups of up to 4 students or private tuition on a 1-to-1 basis are also offered. Classes take place after school and Saturday morning.

Thank you so much for details information.
Unfortunately, there is no activity run by school my child could join, as she is going to P1 in August, it seems most of the acitivities are upper grade pupils.

I am more interest on the the activities run by outsider, like mandarin, art club, chinese painting, drama etc......I believes she will enjoy attend all of them (if money is not the concern)
Do you know whether they offer class for P1?
Do they charge high?
school bus services after the activity?

That's true, there wont be activity runs by school which is suitable for P1 because, according to school, P1 students shouldn't stay in school for too long.  They will be too tired after a whole day lessons & afterschool activities.  For those, run by outsiders, lots of them accept P1 students.  Depends on what you want to join, not sure how much they charge because they have different rates.  You will receive many leaflets, flyers at the beginning of the term.  Take your time to select the suitable ones for your kid.  You can check with the school when it's the P1 orientation day.  There are some in the school office.
